I can't find out how 2 play:( – African Safari Race Review

I t looks awesome and has tons of rave reviews,but I played and I can't find out how to steer your ostrich so I always die right away.it just won't jump or go to the side and there are no instructions for that!I want I keep it but I can't play it.Help!
