Still not working in iOS 5

Hi, I just tried to install the iOS app from the App Store on an iPad 1 (iOS 5) and I get an error stating "This app requires iOS 6.". The date on the app is July 27th, version 1.3. It does say that its compatible with "iPad". It also says in the What's New section "Enabled iOS5 users to download the app". This appears to be broken. Has anyone else done this successfully?
Love the app version, but…

I've been waiting for this app ever since it was advertised in the print version. I'm excited to see it out finally, but I'm disappointed that it isn't Newsstand compatible.

I waited for this app for a while, but since downloading I haven't gotten it to work. I downloaded an issue, which took a long time (I downloaded a 400-page book in less than half the time.) then, when I tried opening the the issue after download, it wouldn't open and said only "document error." I force quit only to have to download the issue again. And then received the same warning again. Not ready for prime time.

Solid app. Works like most other standalone 'zine readers. Offline reader in the future?! I'm on the train a lot and would love to be able to read while away from an Internet connection.

I get the print magazine and it's a good thing because this app hangs on opening. I get the flash screen and an eternal wait symbol and it never opens.

It works when you have Internet connection.

Im still waiting for this app to be usable in airplane mode. Please fix this! It's getting better but unfortunately doesn't work without an internet connection. I travel a lot and can't wait to read these while on a plane. Get these fixed and its a 5 star, plus maybe hot links on the cover and index page so we can quickly jump to a specific article. It's getting there.

If the app closes while downloading an issue when reopening the issue you get document error. This app needs a lot of work they should take note from BYO on there app.
