Love ZINIO - but hate the personalized recommendations

Dear zinio, make it a preferences check box, “I don’t want any pop-ups, I hate when you drop random magazines into my library, and I don’t want pop over advertising for magazines, I’m a PAYING customer, don’t bug me, I’m not watching tv, this is a show I paid for (magazine) I called and had the spam turned off, then you updated the app and now you are spamming me again... “like for real” ?

This is so non-intuitive app. Gave it a 2nd chance, still horrible. I loved Texture and they unfortunately sold to apple.

I have digital to subscriptions through this app for several magazines and cannot access any of them and when I went to Customer Service, all they did was give me the runaround. None of their solutions worked, my money went down the drain. Don’t bother.

I have been a customer since ZINIO started. I prefer getting all my favorite magazines on ZINIO. I like the library and not having to recycle old issues.
Not enhancing the experience

It's a container that allows you to read protected content, but it doesn't have helpful syncing of bookmarks or other annotation features that would make it more than a simple reader. Even my phone’s photo app provides more annotation functions and syncing than this app. I'd love to see advanced functionality for this app with unique content.

When I payed for my subscription I was able to save my PDFs of the magazine I payed for not have to be stuck to some app to access what I payed for!!! Now after my subscription is up I will redue my magazine and pick a digital service that lets me save my files that I pay for. I don’t like being forced into something half way through a subscription this is in fact wrong if not boardline illegal. Now to have the rest of my pdf magazine together I have to go back and repurchase my PDFs that I can not get from your app but of course can go re pay for something. This is wrong and the greedy ceo of this app knows it I would give s zero star if I could I hate that I’m stuck with this crap app half way into my subscription!!!

Had 2 subscriptions. The Weight Watchers never did work. Contacted you several times, didn’t help. Won’t use this again!!!
