Zeeon synth

Zeeon is a virtual analog synthesizer, powered by an advanced analog circuit modelling engine. We spent a lot of time analysing iconic analog synths, both vintage and modern, to find out which parts of the circuit contribute most to their specific character. We used this knowledge to create a unique synth, with focus on what’s most important - the pure, organic and detailed sound. Many analog synth emulations sound dull. Not Zeeon. We take care of the entire spectrum range from deep lows to sweet highs. All audio and modulation signals are processed at 176 KHz (4x oversampling).

Features

• Audio Unit v3 and standalone application with a simple polyphonic step sequencer

• 2 oscillators with continuously variable waveforms, hard-sync and sub-oscillator. Carefully simulated analog drift and PSU influence.

• Filter: 3 models available: Transistor ladder low pass, OTA cascade low pass and State Variable Filter with continuously variable LP-HP + BP mode.

• 2 low frequency oscillators and envelope generators per voice.

• Overdrive: diode clipper, transistor saturation, wave folder, pre and post filter.

• Up to 2 layers per voice. Layers can modulate each other.

• Powerful modulation matrix offering self-modulation and cross-layer modulation, 8 modulation slots, 17 signal sources and 41 targets available, both from modulation modules and audio signal path. This takes Zeeon into semi-modular territory. Imagine oscillator waveform, panning, filter cutoff, resonance or LP-HP mode modulated by oscillators or another layer!

• Effects unit: Circuit modelled BBD chorus, bass booster, zero-delay Phaser, Stereo delay and Reverb.

• 144 presets and Tutorials bank.

More presets and exciting features in upcoming updates.

Great synth at a good price.

Already one of the best synths on iPad

Great job, BeepStreet!

Fantastic

Wow. Great job with this! Very rich and full sounding, and it's running great on my iPad Air. One question - any way to initialize the panel? Edit - thanks for the response!!!

A New Standard
B. Tucker

Like Moog's Model 15, Beepstreet's Zeeon has set a new standard of quality for IOS synthesizer apps. Yes, it is demanding (requires 64-bit processing) but richly rewarding. A worthy successor to Beepstreet's Sunrizer!

Fantastically Fun!
Film less Soundtracks

Another synth that has an easy to use layout with countless opportunities to compose new sounds. I like the "Level" and the Effects Pages that I feel is uniquely subtle in its own. Again I judge Synths first by the quality of the sounds, secondly by easy access to write new presets and have your own Banks! The third criteria is really something that should be on every iOS Synth or other Musical Instrument, which is Bluetooth audio. This one, just put on your Bluetooth headphones and you're ready to go. Nice to not even think about it" Bluetooth audio that most of the best developers offer, but some I have been surprised by not having. Easy five stars, again, played 4 or 5 of the Factory presets before writing my own. At less than ten dollars, it us an insane bargain. Wait till this gets around, I wouldn't be surprised if the price doubles. Thank's for a great effort!!

A Step From Perfect
Wave Orchid

This thing is the real deal, thick (t h i c c), rich sound and fantastic sound sculpting features, however it's missing some things that make it just shy of perfect in my book. No midi, which immediately kills it as a main synth for me. Some destinations missing from the matrix, most dissapointingly the distortion knob (for them gain swells). The LFOs and the delay time don't show the note they are playing in when synced, which would be great. Also, I would have really loved for a longer env time and slower LFOs, to make for really rich evolving pads. Having said that, it's only on its first release, and seeing the hands behind it makes me really hopeful for the future of Zeeon.

Amazing synth!

This thing sounds gorgeous! It is rapidly becoming my go-to synth, and not just on iOS. Top marks!

Thanks for the updates so far

GREAT sounding synth for sure. Seriously in love with it. -Please add midi channel selection because right now it seems to respond to all incoming channels for external gear. For instance, I am trying to sequence it from my JD-Xi on channel 1 but it is being triggered by every channel (1-4)...seems like it is locked in an omni mode...blah. oh, one more thing: please add real-time recording in the step sequencer! I know it is a young synth and these requests may not be what was envisioned, but pretty please. Update: I get it now, in order for me to use this were it only responds to specific midi channels, I must run it through AUM, for instance. Not bad as AUM is elegant & straightforward compared to others. Just was hoping for one less layer to deal with. Still would like real-time recording in step mode! Still LOVING this synth!

Top-tier iOS synth!

This is truly a fun synth to play, with a very immediate set of controls and a great sound. I’ve bought many (most?) iOS synths over the last 5 years, and Zeeon is the one I reach for first. It’s that good. Oscilloscope makes it very easy to see how your changes impact the waveform, and all controls are extremely smooth with respect to changing the audio. I would put this in the same class as Moog’s Model 15 and Korg’s ODYSSEi in terms of raw oscillator quality and warmth, but the interface makes it much more playable. Love it!

Absolutely incredible sound
The Virtual Keyboardist

Zeeon's sound simply blows me away. I am a professional keyboardist and sound designer using 100% iOS soft synths. Sunrizer by Beep Street has been my first choice for sound creation. Once I got a taste of Zeeon, I was floored. It is designed to be an audio unit at this point. However, the developer is excellent in listening to customers and is planning to add a standalone MIDI port to the synth making it even more usable. I look forward to working quite heavily with this incredible synth.
