People who are writing bad reviews show me something that works better! I use the player to play mp4 vids I download from a training site and watch em on my way to work. This app makes the iPad so much more complete! It works absolutely flawlessly. No performance issue, easy dragging files into the players library, easy removing. Simply perfect.

When yxplayer came out I had high hopes for a developer that would continue to support it's product instead it stalled, while others have come out with better options eg VLC. And instead of fixing and improving yxplayer they come out with yxplayer2 ???!!! Get VLC and donate to open source better than paying for a stagnant product.

Avi and mkv files are both jumpy and audio out of sync. It does not play them very well. I regret paying for this app.

If you can get it to stream from a URL, you're magician. Never had an app crash on me or get stuck on screens before - but there's always a first. And this is the one.

Installed lite version and had immediate access to my media server. Works great so far. Bought full version to skip ads.
