This game is cool! I immediately liked the graphics... Rich colors and design. Though I am a novice game player the directions were easy to understand. Looking forward to playing more!
I play a lot of endless runner games. The reaction of the controls are sloppy. When you gain a ninja star, the entire fame slows down and interrupts your flow. The graphics are repetitive and it just doesn't feel realistic. Your main runner character is blocky. Pros: rubies have a nice sound when you collect them.
Just as the header says. This game actually revs up pretty nicely after a bit, and the designs in general are pretty cool. Unfortunately, the controls feel stiff, and occasionally they're wonky enough that they don't respond correctly. The shuriken attack is particularly bad; it only seems to work when it feels like working. Not only is the distance trigger not consistent, but sometimes it doesn't respond even when the icon appears. And they could at least tell you how new enemy types work before they kill you. Seriously, you tell me to slide into Berserkers AFTER one bowls me over? Come on. So, yeah, the controls need tightening. And, honestly, some of the graphics look silly for this generation. That may seem like a minor gripe, but there're other runners that have more fluid animations than this one that're a lot older. It looks clunky...especially during the end of every mission when your character turns around. It's supposed to look cool, but it's hard to look cool when your head's clipping through your body as it ponderously rotates on its axis like someone's twisting a doll's head off. And the clunky graphics kill any and all possibility of the Oni looking threatening. His awkward, stiff-hipped shuffle looks like a 90-year-old man cranked to fast-forward. It's almost hilarious. This is a good game, but it definitely needs serious tweaking to make it more streamlined.
There are some game mechanics that are pretty weird, but other than that it's a great game.
Easy to play and makes the time pass fast. Extra star for the clever name.
Poor outdated graphics. Stiff and inflexible gameplay. Don't be fooled by the previews. Can't even call it a "runner" game. Enemies almost have no knockout animation, just a simple poor visual effect. Dark and repetitive environment color accents. Swinging the sword has no animation but a simple arc effect. And the runner just appears side to side when you swipe to change lanes. In my opinion, not even worth downloading.
A cool game with smooth graphics. The action packed sequences and fighting with temple run type of running makes it marvelous.
A great and elevated experience within the endless runner genre! There's non-stop action that is a mix of reflex and strategy. A standout entry in the endless runner genre!
