My daughter has consistently encouraged me to start yoga. Did not want to attend a class so this is a great start for me. Delivery is simple, and clean; sessions are do-able for beginners and I do not have to get down on the floor- yet. Nicely done for mature adults. Thank you.


Former yoga student and teacher but...

I studied yoga for quite a while and after going through the initial teacher training I continued my education with Restorative and Therapeutic yoga so that I could learn to work with my own restrictions that were mounting due to accidents and arthritis. After being away from it for a while because of family issues I had really started to seize up. My hips, knees, ankles and even a pinched nerve in my left foot made conventional exercise and yoga not a logical choice for me. Then I found this program. I didn't want to have to go to classes that I couldn't afford, but I wanted to be able to do my yoga at first light every day as it really helped with the pain in my hips, spine and neck. It is remarkable. How quickly we forget. Now I don't mind getting up a little early for my yoga and closing it with savasana then 20 minutes of meditation. What a great start to my day. I hope that you are able to join in and create your own program here too.


Great app for those with physical limitations!

I've been looking a long time for a yoga app that is appropriate for someone with MS, and this is it! Yoga is great for everyone, but particularly for people who have to figure out how to live with poor balance and/or localized weaknesses. This app does not assume there is just one way "right" way to do something; instead it shows a variety of ways to get the same effect. Simple, easy to follow instructions with pictures to help. I love it, and will be sharing it with all my MS friends...

I was overwhelmed at the idea of going to a yoga class with my friend, but really need to get started on some good stretching and flexibility moves. She starts with chair yoga - from my chair! - and then moves on from there. One of the best apps I've downloaded and I'll write back when I get more bendy!

I am 59 with arthritis in my back, hip, and neck. I've been looking for over a year for the "right" yoga program for me. Ive tried classes, YouTube videos, DVDs...you name it. The classes were either too easy - the chair class I tried where I never felt I was getting a good stretch - or way too difficult and painful - you want me to put my foot WHERE?? I am delighted with this app! I really feel the stretches. The instructor gives you wonderful explanations. I can replay each video to gain reps or just pause it and do a few more repetitions right then. So far I've worked with the floor sequence, easy standing sequence, and reclined on the back sequence. Each one had me stretching muscles I'd forgotten I had! Yet I didn't feel discouraged. On the contrary, the first few times through I was so delighted to have found that perfect fit. Love it!! Thank you to the developers of this app!!

Great introduction to yoga! I took a traditional class and was so sore afterwards that I nearly gave it. So glad I found this app- now I can do yoga at my pace.

i couldn't use this app. the 'instructor' speaks too quickly and is not a native US speaker. She speaks with an accent' And speaks too fast. The poses might be fine but the verbal instructions were useless for me.


On the road to fitness again

wishing for yesterday

I have always been active and fit. But after fibromyalgia, I just gave into the pain, lost my fitness, gained weight. Then I found this app. I have been encouraged to do yoga, and it doesn’t hurt. Improving my quality of life, and I really like having control over my condition. It makes me feel better. Videos are very well done, and it gets me through the day. Thank you for this wonderful app!

This app was just what I was hoping to find. I can do one short sequence, repeat one, or do several different sequences. As a beginning, I did. It feel intimidated. The pace is nice and the instructions are clear and the visual is helpful. I also love the way the app is organized. Thank you so much.
