The yaks that show up are pure gold honestly, but it's not personal anymore. Before it was all college students relating to the same stuff, like the funny stories about professors and things on campus and the yaks were all from the same place and you would know what everyone's talking about. I miss the inside jokes on yik yak and just the feeling of knowing who the people on your feed are. Not individually, but as a whole group of people.

Why? Just why? Why insult us with this garbage? the original yik yak had such an amazing concept and you have the AUDACITY to remake it into a pile of garbage app that spits out jokes you could just find on twitter. DONT GET THIS APP IF YOU HAVE ANY SELF RESPECT.

i read all the reviews and downloaded it anyways. i wanted to give the app the benefit of the doubt. but no. it actually was that terrible.

I noticed that you only have one example on your side show. Is that the only one that was funny? I downloaded your app and was astonished at the lack of humor you so unjustly presented me with. And a side note, check your spelling! I saw a "yak" that said of instead of off.

Like literally. It’s like vine. They went bankrupt and just gave up, expect unlike vine it was a pretty low key forfeit. Super disappointed.

Hate hate hate the new update. The app isn’t even the same it’s not fun to use. It’s like twitter but not. I liked Yik Yak when it was just funny generated posts and not peopling just posting their weird thoughts.. please change it back

The old Yak is Back! Yik Yak is a great way to get in touch with other people and have fun doing so. With location filters, you can share messages with anyone around you locally and globally—-need I say more? It’s anonymous! Don’t worry about being judged, just be you :)
