It’s awful no one writes back! I’ll stick to Whisper. I miss Candid. This app is terrible. It’s just a bunch of perverts.

I used the app for finding out what to do theater-wise in whatever city I happen to be spending a few days in. Yikyak is/was popular in the theater community, but with this new change there’s absolutely no way to communicate with others. Merely post anonymous “quotes” that they go through and decide which to post. They’ve abandoned their neutral viewing of what happens on their app and have essentially made it defunct for social media. For me this change has simply gotten rid of the only reason I had installed it to begin with: converse with others who share a similar interest, discuss events and jobs in the area connected to said interest, and compare experiences. Another way I can phrase this to explain how useless this once good, yet mediocre app has become: uninstalled.

Honestly the app usto be really fun to type your thought but now you can't scroll through people yaks and you can't even click on one anymore to comment on it, not even like it, aaand you can't look at other cities yik yaks anymore whoever came up with this new yik yak version needs to reconsider this new layout smh.

Absolutely pointless since the update. Can't even communicate with people anymore. Have fun throwing away your app. It genuinely seems like whoever made this update wanted the app to die

The yaks keep showing up multiple times before you read then all. Also no voting or comments now? It looks like a flashcard app now instead of a social media app.
