I entered this app through their referral program & didn't understand it at first, so I went months without using it. It's been great for spring cleaning, & really helped me declutter my apartment. I've also found many items that I've needed for my home, but couldn't afford. Plus, my daughter loves all the unique toys I find her! It's been more of a blessing. I would give it a whole five stars, but there are a few things I wish they would change. First, the app is not compatible with my HTC Desire or my Amazon Five Tablet. I have to use an old iPhone 4, it I want any of the perks of having an app. There is also a system were you can give traders thumps up/downs for your trades. I wish they would show what people were thumped down for because I have been hesitate about trading with people due to their thumps. Example: if I want to trade yerdle for a electronic item from someone, I could see if the have a history with giving away faulty electronics. Last, I wish they had some kind of system to message others through the app or site instead of email. I feel it would make dealing with others a whole lot simpler & faster. Maybe I'm just picky haha! But awesome app for if you have items that you feel you would have a hard time selling on other apps, but still would like to get something for!

If junk you seek...

Super disappointed in this app. I discovered it on Patagonia's website and, seeking used gear, decided to give it a try. The branding is great, the app's previews looks promising, and since Patagonia is promoting, I had high hopes. Those hopes were quickly crushed, as I did not find any Patagonia gear and still have yet to. Since I have those 25 Yerdle dollars I received for signing up, I browsed the listings in hopes of finding something I could use (a teakettle to replace my broken one, a good movie, etc.) but always get lost in the sea of junk. Those stylish app previews of modern housewares and hip clothing- advertised by Yerdle itself- are incredibly deceiving. The actual listings are nothing like Yerdle advertises. I was going to give the app 2 stars for at least functioning well, but now I'm not sure I can say that. I just searched for "Patagonia jacket" and was shown results of anything with "jacket" in the title. A search of "Poler stuff" hat" resulted in listings of anything with "hat" in the title. This wasn't helpful at all; I scrolled for a while, hoping to find the brands I sought, but to no avail. If I want to use those 25 Yerdle dollars, maybe I'll stock up on some trial size shampoos...

Yerdle is the best place to buy once loved items for low prices

Yerdle has tons of items that you may need but don't want to buy new! Cheap fees and a great concept

Using this app will be a "game changer" in the best possible way! I've been using this app for over two years, and I cannot say enough about how amazing the yerdle community is, & about the incredible things that you can find. Plus you cannot beat the cost of shipping, which is only $5.00. You do have to give something to get something. But it is awesome to know that you're giving your items a new home, & knowing that they will not end up in a landfill. Their currency is known as yerdle dollars or $YRD...which is also known as yerdle reuse dollars. I also cannot say enough about the kindness that comes from nearly every yerdle transaction! I love their new wish list feature. You put in the keyword, and if the item is not there, whenever it is listed you will get a notification. It's amazing when you are notified of something that you've been looking for, and are lucky enough to get it. We've received things such as jewelry, clothing, including some great Patagonia jackets and sweaters, plants, household items, Halloween costumes, movies, musical instruments, speakers, & candles just to name a few. They also offer an absolute satisfaction guarantee from their "Happiness Team." What is not to love about using this app to find the things that you would love to receive? Plus yerdle gives you the opportunity to give your items that might not be used to others who could use them. The newly introduced service fees are so small and nominal, it is still well worth finding the amazing items listed every day. Cut down on spending $$$; get it for on yerdle. Start planning for those birthdays & holidays early this year and use this app instead of going out to the stores.

Love it

This is the #1 site for trading things you do not want. You post them and earn yerdle bucks to spend on items you do want. Easy, fun, free to join. Very helpful support team. This is the very best site out there for trading. I love it as well as my family. We are able to get things we wouldn't normal afford to buy.

App crashes often

Patches&Mia

It is an absolutely great app, but it crashes quite often in my opinion. For that reason, I will give 3 stars.

Easy to use

GiantBoo

Very easy to use app. Nice to be able to find people who want my unneeded stuff.

Price policing!

Yerdle won't let you set your own price-they take down your listing if they don't like it. The currency can't be exchanged for real dollars, so if you don't find anything that's actually worth spending real money to pay all those fees, you are stuck. Also, yerdle asks it's pros to leave "sunny" reviews, so that is why there are a lot of 5 stars and a lot of 1 stars with not much in between.

Epically disappointing

The quality of items posted on this app are increasingly terrible. That's the problem with having a contained currency, it self perpetuates a low quality of items posted. I just want to clarify that I loved this app to begin with but the quality of items is appalling anymore. An example of stupid things sold on Yerdle: an "IKEA" table that is later specified as: "not actually from IKEA" but "a hand-made rustic piece" (the photo features what is actually a piece of drift wood that has been somehow both feasted upon my termites and still used for a litter of raptor-puppies to teeth on thereafter, then maybe set on fire...?) Oh yeah. Asking price: $50!!! Seriously Yerdle. Get your stuff together and fix this!

Amazing Community and app

New Updates look great! Yerdle allows me to trade instead of waste. I've saved SO SO SO much money on things I want, and recycled things I'm not using. I have way less clutter. I've become involved with the yerdle communities and it is just so rewarding. I've made friends, helped strangers, helped the earth, and couldn't recommend yerdle with more enthusiasm.
