Needs improvement

This app is great in certain ways - allows me to get rid of items that I cannot sell for real money and I've also bought some cool things. I have an abundance of Yerdle dollars now! But the concept still needs a lot of improvement. The app crashes randomly and often. If something I've liked has sold, I used to be able to 'unheart' it to remove it from view. The latest update does not allow me to remove those items, so my page is cluttered and full of things that are unavailable to buy. I rarely 'heart' anything now. They've implemented a service fee and a bundling fee so even though we're spending fake money to buy an item, we have to pay a minimum of $7 in real dollars to ship one item. I've won a few free shipping credits, but still have to pay a $2 service fee and $2 bundling fee if I want more than one item. Looking at that in terms of "am I getting a good deal"... Most of the time I can buy the same item brand new for the price I've paid in shipping. Like I mentioned, I have an abundance of Yerdle dollars but it's costing me more in real money than is worth it. I rarely buy anything now. I wish there was a better way for Yerdle to make money because this system is terrible.

Only works for newest phone, despite mission

Frustrated that they don't stand up to their own mission- I have an iPhone 4 b/c it works and meets my needs sufficiently. Why fix what isn't broken? Reduce waste, right? However, my inability to further upgrade my iOS has resulted in me being stuck with a version of Yerdle that is buggy and frequently crashes. I can no longer list items, nor can I purchase anything but a single item at a time due to new policy development that prevents users from selling bundles to Yerdlers like me. Used the app for months with success, and am now losing all my Yerdle dollars by deleting the app because it's no longer functional.

Brilliant concept, fails miserably in reality

The sharing concept is brilliant but it has failed miserably here. Firstly, shipping and fees on every purchase is minimum $7. Many times the item purchased can be bought new from a store at that price. Secondly, the points I get when I am getting rid of stuff accumulate and need to be 'spent' bringing more clutter. The quality of items available is poor. There are a lot of yerdle billionaires waiting to pounce on the rare high quality post. So I use the app to literally get rid of stuff (junk) that would otherwise not sell for real money. Not to mention the buggy app which still crashes with every search.

99 percent of the stuff on her is dollar store quality. I have 220 yds I can't even unload cuz all I see is crap.

Yerdle has allowed me to declutter my stuff and get items I've needed at super low prices. I've had excellent experiences, and every exchange has been quick and efficient.

Great app to clear your clutter

I got a rid of a lot of things from the house I don't use anymore and was able to trade for some great items. You will need to search the app constantly for things to trade. Wish they would fix the app to remove liked items that were taken and bring back recently given category. More flash sales please!

I wrote a long and heartfelt review of Yerdle just now, but the App Store app accidentally deleted it when my nickname was deemed 'already taken'. So, take my word for it, great app for people who are thrifty, eco friendly, or who just want to declutter responsibly. App itself is a little buggy and the shipping fees keep you from exchanging really small stuff. But if you're unconvinced or confused, download it, join the facebook groups/communities for this app and just immerse yourself. You'll be glad you did.

I love this app! This is a great way to share your stuff you aren't using, and use it to get things you would otherwise have to spend money on. This app has changed my relationship with my stuff and I have detoxed my closet and received awesome stuff from others in exchange.
