Typical Silicon Valley left wing slanted news. Go on their main page and it’s all Trump 24/7 who has been out of office for almost a year now. But of course not a word about gas prices, shortages, inflation or raising crime because of left wing policies.
Can’t comment on false opinionated “news”

The content is something like 25% news and 75% opinion. You can’t comment on the articles which was the first red flag to me. Most stories clearly omit key facts to portray a false narrative so world and national events are related to the public in the manner they choose. Grossly liberal leaning and definitely a political tool. There should be laws to prohibit companies like this from claiming to be a news source when they release opinion based articles and false “reports” that intentionally omit facts. News should state all the facts not attempt to spin anything in any direction. Despite my political beliefs, I want a 100% unbiased and neutral platform free of any political motive to gain factual knowledge of events so I can form my own opinions. This app contributes to the single biggest problem in America today.
Yahoo news used to be good, no longer news.

I’ve been a fan of Yahoo since it’s inception. However I have become increasingly disenchanted with their product and “news” articles - using the term news loosely. I had always applauded Yahoo as an independent news source and liked the ability to comment or read comments on any news story. Unfortunately over the past few years I have seen Yahoo go from respectable news source to nothing more than a vessel for misinformation and left wing opinion. When they do post articles written by Yahoo “journalists” - again using that term loosely they veer so far left and are so full of garbage and usually incorrect facts they aren’t worth my time. Additionally when Yahoo posts sensitive articles filled with left wing bias or nonsense they disable commenting, they don’t want to hear about their biased reporting nor do they care what the general public really thinks. They are the messenger, they are telling you what’s wrong with America. Yahoo has always been left leaning, but as become a messenger of lies and the left’s narrative. I have deleted the app and will no longer be using Yahoo, I encourage others who feel the same to follow suit.

Since I upgraded to IPhone 12 app says there is a problem to try again. Not sure what the problem is. Please fix it.
User interface is stupid

This news app would close the news article I’m reading whenever I swipe the page down a bit too much or if I’m already near or at the same Top of the page. Instead of just scrolling to the top of the page, the app closes the article I’m reading. The app already uses swipe from left to close an article or return to main page so why hijack the swipe down gesture for the same purpose ?
