Had to uninstall

I had to uninstall this garbage app today. For some stupid reason, yahoo decided that I needed to know breaking news every 30 seconds for news that happened days to months ago. I got a breaking news notification that the election was called for Joe Biden, followed by a breaking news story that the Capital was breached. I mean seriously, that’s freaking breaking news now? This started yesterday and continued today, so I had to get rid of the app as it seems an update done broke the app.

You post stories and provide an avenue for discussion but you shuffle the responses to confuse context and even re-edit the posts to change meaning and perception. Then you replace the names with Anonymous to further confuse the dialogue. You are hypocrites to interfere with free thought and speech. You are biased in the most egregious way epitomizing the same controls levied in China or any number of Middle Eastern countries. Shame on you.

Email change

Just got screwed over by this email change. Unfortunately my phone was run over by a car and lost the link to sbcglobal. Net and cannot find a way to access email. Now forced to create a new account under Verizon owned yahoo. What a pain in the behind this is going to be. The online help might as well be called no help.

Yahoo news is trash, most news it trash. Writers write silly articles with terrible editing, I guess you could call it spec. ed. The articles are of the ideals of their far left staff. Pure trash. The app doesn’t work so great either. If there’s a good review on here it’s because yahoo is forcing their employees to post good reviews.

NO COMMENT SECTION. As soon as I get used to the layout they change it for the worse. Then it repeats itself. It’s like yahoo is trying to outdo themselves for who can make the worst layout. Yahoo “wins” every time. Plus they recommend articles where your notifications of liked comments and replies are and it’s impossible to turn off the notifications for the recommended articles. FAIL

This app used to have useful news. Now each article is choked with a summary section that is usually exactly the same as the first 3 paragraphs afterwards, an exact copy. Then there are only a couple more paragraphs before the article ends and does not contain the full article most of the time before auto- loading the next article. There are also many duplicate articles on the main feed. The feed is twice as long as it needs to be. It’s just too much work to try and dig through and get useful information from this app anymore.

There are FIVE main control icons on the app interface: search, customize feed, home, videos, and settings. Was there no room left over to include an icon to switch news types on the fly, say, from US news to entertainment news? Unless I’m missing something here, that's absolutely absurd and illogical. And it makes the app 100% useless to me. I would love to see whoever designed this mess actually use it. Already uninstalled.
