Helping hand?

I don't understand how the helping hand works on this app. I can find no instructions and intuitively the only thing you can do is bang on the keys. There are icons for songs but we can't make them play.

Amazing job!!

Has a nice selection of songs and clean images for both the xylophone and song icons. I find it easy to follow the finger, but my son has some trouble and often presses where the hand is instead. It would be helpful if the keys would light up or blink as well. There are a few other additions that would make this a more complete app. I would appreciate if the song title would display at the bottom of the screen when a song is selected. It took me some time to figure each one out. I also would like it if the bars were labeled with their musical note (C-C) so that my son could transfer these songs to his toy xylophone. Finally, I would love a few options to switch on. For younger children, a voice reading the song title aloud and even singing the lyrics as the notes are played to encourage correct tempo. For older children, it would be nice to have the option to turn off the pointing finger and display the entire song's notes (ex. C-C-G...) and lyrics below. A final option could be to give a star rating for how well the song was completed--1 star for completing all the notes, 2 for accuracy, and 3 for the correct tempo.
