Amazing app but the purchase kills creativity

What I want in a writing app is almost everything in this very app, and I say "almost" with heavy heart. Though effective, it takes away a couple of freedoms. For example the ability to jot down important notes for a character, or place. Worst of all it lumps such an important thing with, the needless choice of changing the background! If anything I'd understand why you'd pay for the option of changing the background, but to have to pay for something like taking notes. As helpful as this application is for writing. I think it'd be better to just grab the notebook you already paid for and write down everything in there.

I have tried multiple apps for writing my book and story ideas and this is the best one that I’ve found! It is well worth the extra $2 to unlock the extras, but you could easily function without unlocking it. One upgrade I would LOVE would be the ability to add pictures to the items, characters, and possibly the chapters. That is really my only suggestion for this amazing app!

If you didn’t have to pay for everything. It lets you add plot, premise, and a synopsis. But if you want to organize character sheets, chapters, and settings, you have to drop two dollars. Which isn’t a lot, but come on. I shouldn’t have to drop money on something like that.

This app is really good for planning out your story. The last time I had it there were a lot of bugs but I'm glad they fixed it. The only thing I'd like in a future update would be to edit the font size. Currently it looks so small on my iPad Mini. Great app!

This is the writers app I use all the time. The convenience of use is exceptional, and the way the app is set up makes it appealing to look at while writing. The new update adding the character and word count was a plus. I just added the .99 addition I can bet it will only enhance this already terrific writers app.

Mourner of the Lost
I loved this app. It was the perfect app for organizing ideas and stories, and offered lots of ways to outline them. I could not have had my phone without it. I currently have several story lines and sections describing different parts and aspects about them on mine. And I love that I can put all my ideas into one place on my phone. However, with the new update, something horrible happened. All of my plots, premises, synopses, and additional notes were deleted. WHY!?!?? nearly all of the information I had on my stories were in those notes and now they're GONE!!! what ever you do, save your stuff some where before you update, or don't update at all. I wish I could cuss the developer out right now, I am so mad.

This app is perfect for organizing the different elements of a story! I absolutely love having everything in one place. The only flaw is the constant crashing when I add another element to the same character. Even after upgrading to PRO, the crashes continue. Once this is fixed, it will be a 5 star product!

I thought this was going to be a great app, I love the way it looks and all of the features, so I paid for the Pro upgrade. Now the app crashes every time I try to add anything to it. Just entering a character description is painful because you have to enter each feature separately and the app crashes each time. I am deleting now and looking for an app that works.
