Can’t get past tutorial

I have an iPhone XS with the latest iOS updates. I get thru the tutorial but cannot get past “Select Yokai” for the next part. The button isn’t functional. I’m suspicious about all the 5 star reviews as I’m not the only one reporting this problem. Perhaps they’ll fix it with an update.
Handheld Quality Level Game

This feels like a cross between Soul Sacrifice and Muramasa Demon Blade. Playing with a controller and a phone grip that connects to the controller I felt like I was playing those console quality games. Also I just love the combat and the overall aesthetic of this game and even the story is interesting (especially if you really like traditional Japanese mythical lore like I do). Oh and I am on an iPhone X and it plays great so not sure why people with newer iPhones say it is unplayable. A few downsides are that it forces you to watch all the into and outro and if you got a lot of new Yokai and items be prepared to wait awhile while tying to get to the next screen. Another thing I dislike is the level gating of the next story chapter just to force you to do more side missions. You cannot see the Yokai names in the selection menu. You sometimes target non-enemies even if enemies are present (rare but frustrating). Last issue I can think of is the enemies will bug out if targeting a Yokai too long and won’t attack you (happens when using Santaro). But none of this hurts the experience too bad.
Just enough depth for engaging bite sized platinum combat

I’ve played a lot of platinum games like bayonetta, astral chain, and nier and I think world of demons is a good balance for mission based gameplay. I’ve been enjoying this game so far and hope to keep enjoying it with a controller. I just wish cloud saves synced with the Mac version so I could show friends!

Game probably would have been great if it would load past the select yokai part.

First off I want to say that Apple Arcade did it again! I love World of Demons it reminds me of Nioh, dark souls, and also some of Ninja Gaiden!
Great game but..

This is by far one of my favorite games. But after completing the tutorial, it won’t allow me to select a Yokai to take on the first mission! Bug fix?
Great Game, One Problem

This game is a great, the fighting mechanics are great, the graphics are stellar. My only problem is that you have to be certain levels to do certain chapters. As of now, I'm a level 16, but I have to level up to do the next chapter in the story, which kinda takes away from the rpg part of the game. ( I know this game is a fighting game, but it would make sense to allow players to do the beginner difficulty of each chapter without having to be a certain level. ( And for anyone else who likes OP yokai combos, try out Nue and Nine Tails )

You must update your game description because it’s full copy from Okami almost… The mechanics are the same from 2006, I read the company collaborate for the game development with Capcom 15 years ago, the sounds assets they’re completely the same too and what about the graphics? Did I must say anything? The game in general is an 8, but requires those credits towards Okami. Original ideas way nicer usually, fantasian was based on final fantasy vii but not a not copy. Thank you
