Wonderful

As a hobby developer, this is the perfect tool for me. With commiting, pushing and commit signing, this is a WONDERFUL piece of software. Will recommend 10/10

Cool hiding ‘push’

Software is based on ‘git’ which is 100% free and they’re charging fifteen doll-hairs just to push commits! Rip off!! Yup if you’re the only game in town you can take Linus Torvald’s work and barely implement it and charge 3x the value of the app. Should have been upfront about it if you didn’t want want people to be upset.

A full featured git clone

I have used the app for years for my development needs. It's freed me from working only when I'm in front of a computer and has allowed me to make a quick change on an errand, or produce a full web app in one sitting outside enjoying the air. I would highly recommend Working Copy to anyone who does web development especially.

Best Git Client I've Ever Used (iOS or otherwise)

Working Copy is so crazy impressive with how powerful it is. You can do pretty much everything you would ever want to do related to git aside from run your code (although I think I might have even seen an option to run python scripts? Not sure). You have every capability, and even though the UI is a little bit overwhelming at first, once you get over the initial hump everything is suddenly super intuitive and very easy to find and figure out. I had a big deadline for work and had to use my iPad to work some stuff out, and Working Copy made it so incredibly easy to do. I'm really impressed and super happy that this exists. Only "Caveat" is that it's $15.99 for the pro purchase, but frankly I think that might even be too little considering how powerful the app is and how good a job the developer does of keeping the app up-to-date. Plus, there's a free 10-day trial so you can fully learn about the app before you fall in love with it and find that you can't live without it. If you do any programming whatsoever and have to use git, I cannot recommend this app enough.

So glad I found this app.

So glad I found this app! For the people that are upset about paying for this app. I read the review from Sean D. Hunt upset that he has to pay because he is on a “limited” income. My question is this. You pay for the computer you work on?? You pay for the electricity to power that computer. Why shouldn’t you have to pay for the app that makes it possible to work. We programmers have to put on food on the table too, pay our mortgage/rent, pet food, etc. Now off my soap box. Love this app. I came across this app because I started allergy shots. I have to go to the hospital twice a week for shots. Then I have to sit there for thirty minutes. Instead of sitting there and wasting time I could be working. Now, I can pull my repositories work and then push them back up. With this app and Pythonista I’m a programmer on the go :) One request. I’m not a fan of GitHub now that Microsoft purchased it. My opinion is that a for-profit especially a for-profit as large as Microsoft and what they do have control of such a large repository of open source software. I use Fossil-SCM. It’s actually better. And it just like Git / GitHub. It uses the same commands. Instead of git push, git pull, git commit, git add etc... it’s fossil push fossil pull, fossil commit etc. Please consider adding the features for fossil. I’d be happy to pay another 15.00 for it as an additional feature to the main program. I know it’s not as popular as GitHub but it’s definitely gaining popularity. Plus more programs like this help spread the word of Fossil-SCM an AWESOME open-software version control program. Thanks for taking this into consideration!

Perfect, but needs a full screen reading mode!

This is the third app I’ve purchased in this category, and it’s the best so far by a tad inch. Now if there was a way to hide the tool bars so that more content is visible on the screen, it would be the best by a mile! If you could navigate the code by clicking on methods and such (i.e. click a method name and it takes you to its definition if available), it would be the best by two miles!! I would even pay additional in app purchase for that!

Very smooth

This app is fantastic. Easy to use, worth every penny.

Developers work hard.

@sky4sky7

It's pretty good now, and I don't know how it will perform on iOS 14.
