Removed app before I finished my first game because the clutter and incessant pop ups made me keep having to force quit it. It’s basically browser-trapping. See ya WWF.

Paid for ad free TWICE, it’s gone again. No support. Terrible privacy policy. Used to be great, awful now.

It’s bad enough to have to suffer the ads but it’s really bad when you wait them out and when the x shows and you push it, nothing happens. There’s a security ad that does this.......I push the x and sometimes I even get the store......it probably takes at least five minutes before I can get it off the screen and that’s by pushing the x 25 or more times. It’s a shame that they’ve ruined such a great game.

I purchased a month of add-free and boy was it worth it. A few months back I deactivated all social media to take a much needed break, so words is my most used app I’d say. The free version is so full of adds that it’s impossible to get into any of the games. Someone said this game is designed for cheating. Eh, I see your point and I’m still okay with it. Knowing how to work the cheater moves to your advantage is just part of the game? That’s how I’ve rationalized it to myself. I also don’t feel that bad because I have a feeling I’m just playing against a bunch of bots, but that’s part of the fun too. I strategize my plays based on whether or not I think I’m actually playing against another human or not. All the old dudes will chat you, “hello” Again; A great time. I love this app.

Frozen game

Words with Friends has frozen again.... this is not the first or second time that the game has frozen late Sunday evening & that is the only reason that I can’t finish my last two solo challenges.... some advertisement endlessly runs & I am unable to end it. It makes me think about deleting Words with Friends. And I concur with another writer about made up‘words’ on the game—- annoying!

Have been playing WWF for Many years with my Friends!!! Lately I have been getting dozens of request from strangers (or computer generated). How can I stop these requests? Why is this happening all of a sudden. I’ve updated the game and it still is happening. I’m ready to give up WWF because it is so irritating Help!

Too slow and players have to work too hard for points

I have played this game for at least a year. I was having a great time and enjoying it but now we have to waste more of our precious time seeing adds. During the late night hours and early morning we have to wait and wait and wait ..................THEN we will receive a message from the game saying “Try again later.” Also, while I am venting, they used to give us some free turns to swap tiles during a game...now we have to use 20 of our credits or buy them. SERIOUSLY?? Address the problem or I am moving on.

Small Tileboard Difficult to See

Every newer version of words reduces the screen size. The original versions were better because the main tile board was large and the tiles in your tile rack were the same size and it was very easy to see visually. With updates and upgrades unfortunately necessary with your device you’re forced to get a version of words that has a smaller game board and for some reason larger tiles on the tile rack. I’ve cut back on playing games because the smaller game board is just to hard to see.
