Sometimes I have hard time remembering where I put down my paper copy. This is a great back up to have for that. Or sometimes I may be away from home and want access. Nice to have. I love the meditations after the daily Gospel readings.

I have had the Word Among Us print editions for 20 years and have given many a gift subscription. It really does make a wonderful gift no matter the platform... I decided to get the digital subscription when COVID-19 changed the way we attend Mass. Since Missals would no longer be available in the pews, I wanted to be able to follow along on my tablet or smartphone. Not only does Word Among Us include daily scripture readings, it also has the Order of the Mass. The daily meditations are well written, and I look forward with great anticipation to reflecting on God’s word each day. If the app were the print copy, I would wear the cover right off every issue. I do wish there was a way to access the forum from the app. Currently, you have to go to the web version to participate in any discussions.

I wish they would have the daily mass plus the optional mass in the book because sometimes our church does not do the optional readings and then you cannot follow along since we do not use mass books in church. Thanks Pat Quit the nick name to send hard to find options not taken

I love getting the readings for the day and the daily reflections. The other day the first reading was about the manna in the desert. I come down in the morning, get a cup of coffee and pray with The Word among Us. I realize it is my manna. This was written a while ago but still holds true.
