Three things are problematic with this app: 1. The device has to have the strong internet connection all the time! 2. It’s “page based”, not intuitive scrolling approach. 3. It’s device locked, not “account based”. You have to buy access to every devices you plan to use. I have an iPhone and an iPad, and use them intermittent and I have to buy 2 subscriptions.

I am thankful for “the Word among us” my mother has been a prescribed for 2 decades, I believe. She and my Father are daily readers, my brother and I also prescribe as well. I love this tradition in our family as it brings us together on a daily bases even though we are hundreds of miles part. The Word has brought knowledge and strength to our faith. The books are excellent, have a beautiful edition, excellent content and reflexions. The presentation is impeccable. The APP helps evangelize people, specially the young adults. I travel a lot and have the entire book in my IPhone. The Hispanic community in Florida is waiting for a Spanish version of the APP for the I pads and smart phones... Thank you for that amazing work that helps catholics to live and grow the Catholic Faith in our everyday life.
Portable readings for shut-in visits.

I use the WAU when I go to visit shut-ins. If they want, (and they usually do) I can do the readings from the Mass and/or the meditation to them. Most want the daily readings, and I love sharing the readings with them. Thanks for this portable tool for outreach!

The app can be glitchy at times. Not wanting to open content or scroll through content. When that happens, the content can be found through Safari. Again, great mediations/reflections. Also, join WAU and read the outstanding articles.

Ever since Mrs Teresa Tomeo mentioned this website on her radio show Catholic Connection - I have enjoyed, learned and truly feel the Holy Spirit when I read the daily meditations. I have referred this website to all of my family and friends and others who want to learn. Keep up the great work !!!!!
