Woot deserves better

The app is clunky. It has no way to refresh a page, essential during WOOT-offs and some sales. When the Woot servers hang there is no way to return to the main page until you do a hard close of the app and reboot it. Besides, I don’t like being automatically sent to the app when I use my browser to go to Woot.com and try to look at the shirts. I I had wanted to open the app, I would have don E that in the first place!
Push notices do not work

For a company owned by amazon who own their own push notification service, you’d think this would work. For the latest woot off the app is required to get notices for boc, but with all notice options on with persistent setting I only get random notices about once per day. It’s useless. Woot member since 2006.
Slowest app on my phone

Not designed well, typically crashes on me 3-4 times a week, very slow. Deals typically are the same or more expensive than elsewhere, and they actually sold me a stolen fire tablet. Had a fun time explaining that one. Not worth the effort

Every time I’ve tried to load the app for the last couple of weeks I get the same error. “An error occurred while getting information from the server.”

Let’s fix this Amazon/Woot! Like other reviewer’s and I try to purchase something on the iOS app I get a blank screen if I go backwards then tells me my car is empty even though the cart icon shows one item. I was able to do a workaround by deleting the app reinstalling and then I could purchase my product. This problem has persisted for several months that I know about, there’s no excuse for this not being fixed. The other frustrating thing is when I try to order it from the website there’s a message saying that I can order only order it from the app.

Remember when things were simple and always worked? Yeah me, too. That’s not the case wit Woot which doesn’t work on basic internet or its app. Ahhh, the good old days.

The app keeps giving me the “Oh ****! Something went wrong.” Error. For months and months with no help. I emailed and support basically gave up trying to fix it.

Lately I can’t make a purchase. When I try to check out, I get taken to a blank screen and nothing further happens. When I go back to my cart, it shows as empty even though the cart icon shows an item.
