Showing its age. Good, but buggy.

I’ve used this for what feels like forever— probably at least 7 years. It’s been good, but it’s getting tougher around the edges. Really needs better slide-right-to-go-back animation. And if I 3D Touch the icon and select search, the search interface is not only completely messed up, but it plain and simple doesn’t work. Always returns zero results.

Great App

Overall, this app is awesome. much better layout and navigation versus the Wikipedia app. I have used this app since it first came out for iPhone 3G. i am on 64bit iOS 9.3.2. I would like to see "Open in Wikipanion" option for Safari links for Wikipedia. Also, with the latest version, the autoscroll is broke for 'jump to section' links in the table of contents menu. It acts like it's going to scroll but doesn't move, and then if you try to scroll, it autoscrolls back to the top of the page. hopefully they'll have a bug fix for this soon.

Still love it

I personally love the new icon and the app itself is reliable and easy to use.

Best Wiki App

I've been using this app since the iPhone 3G, good UI/UX. Very easy to navigate and read.

Cost of app

I intended to leave this review for the Wikipanion Plus app, but the iTunes Store is telling me I need to have purchased the app -- which I have done -- in order to review it. My one-star rating has nothing to do with the functioning of the app itself but rather with the pricing. I recently acquired a new iPhone and began populating it with the essential apps I have on my iPad. Some of these apps I had paid for while others were free. I was able to download and install all of the paid-for apps without having to pay for them again -- with the exception being Wikipanion Plus, which wants me to pay for it again. I thought that purchasing an app on/from one device meant that, as long as I was using the same Apple ID, I could install it on another device without having to pay for it again. And there doesn't seem to be a way to communicate with the app's developer on his web page. (Other than this issue, I like the app and would probably give it four or five stars.)

Outdated

This formally was a favorite app of mine. However it recently has faded and now the Wikipedia app is much, much better. It all started with their hideous new icon and now certain features don't work, the app randomly crashes, and it's outdated in terms of usability.

Nearly 10 years of superb functionality

Jor/Jas

Been using this app since I had my first iPod touch back around 2008 or 2009, and it has been consistently clean, intuitive, and perfectly functional. I've never had a single complaint. This app has stood the test of time and is a mainstay on my device.

Programming is 5 years behind

Still no simple sliding animation when swiping forward and backward through pages. Apple introduced this feature in iOS 4 I think it was? It's too hard to navigate by swiping without this simple feature. And why does my review keep getting deleted? Stop censoring me. Garbage app.

Solid

So reliable for easily navigating Wikipedia.
