HELP!!!!

I’m on Wickr!! But I had to delete the app and download again!!! Now I cannot get back on!!!!? I’m using my user name AND PASSWORD and it keeps saying it’s wrong!! OMG!!! It won’t let me enter my name because it says it’s already used?? Problem is I sadly don’t know the correct spelling of the person that I’m communicating with on here?

Bring back the shredder controls please. The controls for screen lock time also like before. So can set 1hr no lock but then password/Touch ID after that for example. Where is setting for default destruct timer? Only seem to be able to set in each conversation again only after it starts. Big thumbs up for the calls function! Signal can't seem to grasp some people don't want their phone # attached. Much improved!

Update from 8 June causes users to see a splash screen every time they reply to messages. Terrible UI.

What does a babbling brook have to do with your brand?! I feel like I’m in the twilight zone with this update. Is this a late April fools joke? Wow. This is bizarre. Whoever is running product and advising you on marketing, brand and design should be fired. Do you even user test this stuff? I'm so glad i didn't update my primary device.

Why oh why keep updating and adding changes. Sign in screen - used to be dark, unassuming, discreet - now it’s bright and although nice backround picture, i wish i had a choice in choosing one. Next on the sign in screen - why is there a lock icon - granted i dont have a password saved but why does it give option to take me to the saved password. This is not private because if someone gets hold of my phone, although not able to get into the Wickr, they will get into my saved passwords for other sites. This defeats the whole purpose of being encrypted and private and secure. Please remove the lock icon in sign on screen

Thanks for adding back screenshot notification. (Been waiting for that feature for some time now.) Most major features from the 3.x version have been re-added to the 4.x version — just waiting for a few usability tweaks to be implemented that will make app truly excellent! The glitch currently driving me nuts is the expiration timer resetting itself when you delete a thread. It creates a lot extra hassle when you are managing a dozen or so different conversations. What this app really needs is (1) the ability to set a baseline default timer and BOR setting for all conversations, and (2) if those settings change, remember them on a per user basis, not a per conversation basis. Getting this fixed would be a big leap forward. Features added back in 4.x release: ✅ Screenshot notification ✅ Secure voice calls ✅ Tap-to-read (“padlocks” feature) ✅ Anonymous notifications ✅ Granular control of ephemerality ✅ Ability to delete conversations Features still missing: ⚠️ App logout timer controls ⚠️ Ability to delete profile picture ⚠️ Ability to delete contacts ⚠️ Set default BOR/expiration ⚠️ Message read notifications ⚠️ Better user verification — Previous 3-Star Review — Recent updates have primarily been bug fixes and tweaks. Still missing several features from the 3.x version but the new addition of secure calls is impressive! Have made calls around the world on 3G data connectivity and quality/clarity was near flawless. Even when I had to use a VPN on those 3G connections! — Previous 2-Star Review — Still missing message-read padlocks. I hear those are coming back soon-ish? Also don't like that notifications now display the other user's name. Liked it better when it just said "New message" and not "Bob has sent you a new message." — Previous 1-Star Review — The app still has a loooong way to go before it will be on the same level as the 3.x version. Really hope those updates promised on the company blog come hard and fast. Otherwise market share will go the way of Sears and JC Penny.

I am a huge proponent of encryption, privacy protection, & anonymous communications. This is a powerful tool in that arsenal. If you combine this to deliver an expiring one-time use encrypted messenger tunnel with encrypted messages in the tunnel then it is almost perfect protection. After a few years of having this, I am still extremely happy with the product and am considering it for my business.

Need default BOR (burn on read) and expiration timer. It would allow the user to have basic destruct timer settings for any new message threads, otherwise the default settings are a 30 day expiration and no BOR. Also need to be able to recall messages anytime before it expires, not during the BOR countdown. For some reason the BOR counts down immediately on the senders device, even though the actual expiration may be set much longer. The good news is, even if you don’t set the burn on read, and the destruct settings remain on the 30 day default, you can still recall the message at anytime, even after it’s been read. Just be sure you hit “recall” and not “delete” which only deletes it from the senders device.
