I use this app every night! Recently I was in the hospital and used it to drown out all the noise there. The nurse asked me for the app information. She loved it!
App has been cutting out lately

I’ve used this app for a long time. It’s great. But lately it’s been just cutting out randomly, sometimes causing me to wake up. Not sure what’s going on, but hope they fix that soon.

This WAS a 5* review until last week or so. You start the sound, it plays 30 seconds, falls solent. Will be deleting and moving onto one that actually works.

Use this app if you want something to jar you awake multiple times in the middle of the night. I see that a few other reviewers have had the same problem I’m having with this app. After years of working beautifully as a simple, free way to combat insomnia, the past year or 2 it will go through phases of suddenly going silent. You can start it up again but it will stop again at random times. There are also times when you will suddenly hear speaking from ads start up loudly and then cut off. All of this is extremely disruptive to sleep which defeats the whole purpose of using a white noise app. Why would you put ads with sound/voices in an app that’s suppose to be in use while people are sleeping and they are using your app to help them sleep? And why haven’t the creators of this app responded to any of the reviews that bring up these problems like I’ve seen some other white noise app administrators do when they get a review that brings up bugs to let the public know they are aware and fixing or trying to fix it? Disappointed and on the search for a free app that actually works elsewhere.

I have traveled a lot, and found white noise machines could help cover noise from hallways and neighboring rooms. After 2 of them broke, I found this app. I have been using it for years now, and I really like the ability to mix multiple kinds of background noise and even to control the relative loudness of each. I highly recommend this app.
