Far Better Than Uber

I was a long time Uber user until I found this gem. The service is better and cars are much easier to find during busy times. I am Never using Uber ever again.

The Whisk Team has created a easy to use ride system that offers additional features not found in more traditional ride apps. You can bring your dog with you :), that is a great feature that I know many people will love.

I love the manage reservation feature. However the calendar and time icon is really confusing.

I have been impressed over the past few months by this app. I'm happy with the updated, especially with Queue me, which lets me request a cab at any time and will hook me up as soon as one becomes available. That way I know someone is coming for me and I don't have to stand outside in the cold looking for an open cab. They kept the functionalities I like: press a button to get a car, and the driver's info pops up when he calls you back. I love having this information, both as someone who often leaves stuff in cabs (stupid scarf and hat weather) and as the mom of two kids who sometimes need to go to different places. My 13 year old is riding by himself, and he always sends me a screen shot of "his guy" (whichever driver is picking him up) and a pic of the license plate, so I know who is taking care of him. This has given me a great feeling of safety to let him learn the independence of getting around, learning how to pay and tip and interact with people on his own, without worrying about him on the subway. He has learned about rating the drivers (don't be a jerk, this is someone's livelihood) and I think that has given him a sense of empowerment in a safe environment. The cars are always nice - it's not some random cab off the street. I hate hailing a cab and getting into a place stinking of smoke with seat belts that don't work. The kind that you can't wait to get out of. I also notice that the drivers tend to be more cordial because they know they have the accountability - I have all their info and a feedback button. The tip button at the end automatically lets you put in a percentage and it all goes to my card for easy tracking. Makes it easy to track if my kids need to go somewhere on their own, so I know what is going on with them. I'm very happy with this app, and I'm recommending it to all moms and people I know who don't like driving in NYC and don't carry cash for taxis, but don't want to take the subway all the time.

I tried it 3 times and loved it. In all instances, the car came by in less than 5 minutes and it cost almost the same as a cab. The only thing I didn't like initially was that the pick-up address didn't show up correctly, but then the driver explained that they used the GPS location rather than the address. Would recommend it

Nice for airports. Each version is a little better and plenty of NYC cars. ---- In a car now. Taking me to CT in perfectly clean SUV Been using for a long while and each version is better. Also like the new airport feature. Highly recommend.

I tried Whisk on my recent trip to NYC. I booked a reservation using the app, which was a breeze, because I don’t want to bother with waiting in line for taxis. My flight, however, arrived 30 minutes early. I thought I would need to wait for a while, but to my surprise, the moment I turn on my phone I received an email telling me that they are tracking my flight and the driver is already there waiting! How cool is that! Great job Whisk, and hopefully you can come to more cities soon!
