Cool idea, needs work

Gogo812

I've had this app for 4 days now and for whatever reason my matches do not show up within the app. I have to go to my notifications and select the matches I have from there in order to either accept or decline the date. The app also doesn't allow cancellation within the interface, leading users to have to awkwardly contact this person we are matched with to cancel the date if we cannot make it. It would be cool if I could cancel the date from within the app.

Not enough users

enigirl

I had the app for about 3 weeks and ended up deleting today bc there aren't enough users...so more days than not, Whim didn't send me any potential matches. I wrote them thinking there was a glitch, but they told me it was bc they didn't have enough users that fit my match preference (which wasn't even very limiting). And the few times I've matched with someone, Whim kept setting up the date an hour away from my location even though I specified my location. Good concept, bad execution.

Great take on online dating!

Has much potential and look forward to better things to come..

I like the concept of this app

I have been using this app for awhile( about 6 months+). I had two dates so far. Recently, the app arranged me couple dates, no one contacted me before dates (No dates), I think there are a few reasons: people don't use this app anymore; people don't take this app serious anymore; personally, I'm old fashioned, I think guys should contact girls first. I like the arrangement idea to cut all unnecessary steps before people actually meet. I think it doesn't work as it designed ideally because it's not mandatory to actually meet someone even chosen by users themselves voluntarily, which maybe approved that "free is not free/available". The database/users amount, I don't think it's enough to charge users base on current users amount, which is kind of a dilemma of developing this app. Another thing I really like about this app is the business information involved, I live in west side of DTLA, almost never go to the art district, my first date was arranged there. It's good for business promotion. BUT AGAIN, not all business ideas can survive in the real world. I experienced technical problems sometimes, but I think it's the least concern of developing this app. As much as I like it from business perspective, I don't see this app will still exist in next 12 months, 18 months maximum, unless it has fundamentally change.

Finally!

Chatting and scheduling is the worst part of dating. I love this concept and wish all app dating worked this way.

Key features broken

Isaac Marion

Intriguing concept but currently unusable due to the age range selector being broken.
