Για καποιο λογο τους τελευταιους 3 μηνες δεν με αφηνει να κανω ανανεωση απο την εφαρμογη. Πολυ σπαστικο!
First off no English support, second the shameless cash grab of your preloaded credits after two months, third (this is the worst one) continual bombardment of text messages with deals. If I wanted deals I would look for them in the app. Also why are the deals being watered down especially during pandemic times? The summer before the pandemic there was an offer of 30gb for 15€. During the pandemic it was 15gb for 10€. Support outside Greece (within Europe) is advertised as still functional yet I have encountered in multiple European countries that there is no data or phone abilities, even with roaming on. European law states that it is illegal to charge extra within Europe. However the app separates Greece, other “whatsup” users, and outside Greece. So apparently offering a la carte is suffice loophole to charge customers extra. As for most tourists this is the number one option during their vacation (mainly due to the lack of options) it is extra shameful to take advantage of them due to the language barriers and hidden subtexts. I do not blame the developers of this app as it works exactly as intended and I salute you. Just really upset with management at COSMOTE for boasting in their annual report to stock holders that they had a super fruitful year and achieved this in the most dirty way, especially during COVID times where people needed each other more than ever.
App works fine but it’s only in Greek language, all notifications come in Greek too so it’s almost not useful for tourists ?
2 Executive decisions have limited the app only to locals, possibly a strategic ploy? First issue is no English! Second issue is the SMS received from app is not compatible with Google translate. Third issue you need a Greek friend to help you navigate the app. The internet is global, this apps language is local ? SMS from this app can’t be translated by Google. In a country where English is used more than Greek, this app has missed its target!
Please consider adding English language as many residents dont speak greek
I cant speak greek and I’m frustrated because there is no english , how come !!!!
I love that is makes having to call to hear offers and reload data obsolete! I just wish it had an english translation
The app will be fairly easy to use for the most part, it has a clear breakdown of categories and easy to use interface to add more to the category you want. Because “What’s Up” is the most favored choice by most travelers to Greece I am puzzled why there is no English support let alone support for any other language. It seriously harms the usability of the app; it’s absence is especially surprising considering the 1314 What’s Up hotline at least had an English phone tree
