Unique and Aborable

So before I write this I have to admit that I rarely ever leave reviews on the apps I play. However, this game was just so interesting and unique, that I felt the need to share my thoughts on the App Store. (Skip to the last paragraph for a summary cause I’m about to let loose yikes.) Foremost is definitely the art style. Each character has their own specific features that ensures their recognizable, and easily reflects the hard work from the developers. (Not to mention that the dogs are just too adorable!) Every dish has it’s own artwork that goes into a recipe book, and these illustrations can actually be useful in helping you learn the ingredients for each food item. To sum it up: I never get tired of the art in this game, and all it’s various details. Next to the artwork is most likely the system this game is built on and all it’s different activities. Although I’m still relatively new to this game, I seem to have found a nice pacing for playing. This app has plenty to do, but not so much that you feel overwhelmed. Everything is pretty much optional. You can focus on advancing your career as a chef, completing all the recipes possible, or even occasionally grinding to complete holiday themed missions. I love the freedom, and fill the time between making food with gathering more ingredients. Basically the game can both be left alone for a few days, or actively played if desired (in my experience). Finally (since this review is already long enough) is the customization. At first I was worried that this game would be too “one note” and lack any particularly exciting opportunities for experimenting. However, as I played more, I began unlocking materials and getting more money to buy things for my restaurant. Having the ability to dress up my character, change my store’s theme, and customize so much more in this app keeps me motivated. These items make me want to play and unlock new materials. It’s a simple thing that unfortunately you don’t see in many other games nowadays. Not to mention, it keeps you invested and gives you another reason to play. In general, despite the lack of attention this game receives, it has many unique and entrancing features that repeatedly draw in me in to play. The game can be fun for both heavily active players, as well as those that simply enjoy a game to mess with every so often. The art style speaks for itself, and truly adds to the overall experience. The only real “downside” of this game is the significant presence of ads. You can play the game fine without them, but you can only really play good with them. Although you’re never forced to watch ads, rare currency is often only available as rewards for watching these videos. I personally don’t mind them (I’ll just set my phone down and work or something while they play), but if this kind of thing really gets to you, this app might not be the best. Anyways, I really enjoy this game, and wish more people knew about it.

So i was scrolling down my feed on instagram and saw a sponsored picture of this game from the creators instagram. i decided to look at the instagram and i thought it was cute so i immediately looked up the game and downloaded it. i am not at all disappointed, i love all the little recipes and the art is so cute. i don’t normally write reviews but i thought this one was worth it. keep the game simple, i like it :)

I love this game! It’s amazingly addictive even when the game is so simple. The style is incredibly cute and clean, so it’s always nice to see. My only complaint is that I can’t go online so I can’t play the newer “festival” or events. It says I have a connection issue even though I can still play adds and I have WiFi. I don’t know if that’s only me, but it is such a let down.

I think this game is very good except for one small flaw. The oven takes too much time to cook, I hope that they can change that.

This game is seriously adorable! Very cute. Mini game is nice and simple and the in-game costs of things aren’t nuts. I am disappointed by the lack of choosable (free) hairstyles! But it’s not that big of a deal.
