Haven’t been able to enter death dates for anyone & have sent 3 emails to admin (starting in Dec 2017) w/no answers. So far “possibly” related to 5 people (all celebrities) based on obscure relations from 8-10 generations back. Getting ready to delete the app unless I get some help from admin.

No guarantees but fun to see the possibilities and provides names/dates to research so you can either confirm or disprove if you are related. I might add that I have one very famous connection even more closely related than what has shown up which I have already confirmed in my lineage. I’m still waiting to see if this app can make that connection.

This is a good tool to give you good “possible” ancestry routes to explore. I have found about 40-50% of their paths to be accurate and who knows i could be wrong on the others. The point is that any helpful hints that turn into connections are worthy of exploring. Use this to explore and always cross verify.

While some of the famous people to whom I am supposedly related turn out to be fairly specious relations, others turn out to be those to whom I had absolutely no idea that I was related and have actually helped me to track down and verify heretofore unknown ancestors, so it has proven to be quite a useful tool to help broaden my genealogical research. I recommend this app to anyone looking to find previously unknown ancestors and famous relations, too! I'm 2nd cousin 8 times removed of President George Washington, who knew! I already knew of being 3rd cousin 8 times removed of Thomas Jefferson, but finding relation to George Washington was especially exciting! Have fun, genealogists!
