Great app but they need fix a few bugs

Ninjarai22

I've this app for years and I love it! But the only thing recently it's been having two kinds of issues. One It would freeze during my runs and then the app will close out, when I re open the app it I would have to start over cause it won't pick up where I left off. The Second problem which has been a long time issue is it drains the crap out of your battery life I recommend having your phone fully charge and on power saving mode when using this app I have an IPhone 5s and with power saving mode I go from 100% to 38% after using the app to do a 10k. If it weren't for theses issues I'd give it five stars!

Great App!

Love this app!

Not working with apple update

Jpeardot

Great app, but it seems to not be working with the new apple update!

Freezes all the time with iOS 11

Katzo1

Love the app but it’s unusable right now. It freezes every 2 minutes

Good app. However, not stable under iOS 11

Amerplus

I like the app. It is good focused approach to running. However, since the release of iOS 11, the app is buggy. It gets very slow during the workout. You start to see the workout time counter skipping counts until it just freezes. After that, the entire app stop responding and you need to force stop it. A major issue for me is that once this happens, the workout does not register within Apple’s Health App. Even if within the App you see that you have done a workout. Love the app and its direction... when it is working properly ?

Great app when it works

Nyma

This is a great app but with every update something goes wrong. With the most recent update the app doesn’t even open. When it works and opens, it’s great, but this freezing and non opening is incredibly frustrating. I wouldn’t complain except that it happens A LOT!

I really do love this program but ...

Ladykitchen

With the latest update it completely reset itself and started my current program over from the beginning. I find that very frustrating.

Freezes on iOS 11; Support was terrible toward my very legitimate question

UPDATE 11/14/17: I wanted to give the app one more chance so I tried today’s update. No go. App still freezes, and only way to get it back is to REBOOT the phone. Killing the app doesn’t work!! I didn’t think Apple even allowed that!! And the Apple Watch part of the app is HORRIBLE. The time doesn’t stay in sync with the phone at all!! I don’t understand what the developers are doing; I’m sure they’re working hard trying to make a good app but what gives here??? Sorry developers, I give up and will now be deleting this app for good. I really wanted this to be my go-to running app, but there are so many better ones out there. (Nike NRC+ has been amazing so far, and it’s completely free without trying to charge you for premium “features.”) UPDATE 10/22/17: reducing my score from 2 stars to 1. Today the app froze to the point where killing the app didn’t do any good. I had to completely reboot the phone for the app to start working again. All this while I was right in the middle of a sprint. Absolutely terrible. I will bump my rating up when/if this is fixed. Original Review: Ever since I updated to iOS 11 this app freezes at least 3 times throughout my run. This happens every workout since updating. Worse though is my recent experience with support. I opened a Support ticket b/c I don’t understand why when I completely stop moving, the calories continue to count up (rapidly). No other running app works this way. I told them that I can literally sit in one place for upwards of 10 minutes and the calories burned metric will continue to count up quite quickly the entire time. Their answer: “Many metrics about your workout are taken into consideration to calculate calories burned.” I felt like I was dealing with a robot. Upon telling them that their reply didn’t answer my question and that all other running apps work as expected in this regard, they literally replied and told me they couldn’t help me with my issue. I wonder if my experience would have been any different if I were a paid subscriber. Thing is, I explained to them that if they couldn’t at least acknowledge the issue, they were going to lose the potential for a longtime paying customer b/c of how I otherwise thought the app had something unique to offer. Guess they couldn’t care less about that! Going back to Runkeeper.

Same problem as the other user

JohnHamon

After years of problem free use, this app is going backwards I have played with this several ways and determined that the only way to use this app without random hangs during my run (have to close and restart the app multiple times) is to remove it from my Apple watch3. A serious fail.

A Life Savior

I have been struggling with asthma and overweight for a long time. This has helped me lose weight and strengthen my breathing since I started using it. Thanks for designing it!!
