Been able to judge accuracy fairly well

Hidden object fanatic

I’ve been using this app for a few years and found its reports somewhat at odds with the weather channel app. Never knew which one to really trust more which was aggravating since I base my secondary med on what my current trigger is, and it’s been a bit of a shot in the dark until now. Over the past 5 days or so outside mold has been high while everything else has been low. I have been miserable. The weather channel app does not report on mold. My step son who normally has bad allergies as well had no problems those days and mold is not one of his triggers. Today however he reported having moderate toward severe problems, and lo and behold this app reported that tree pollen has jumped from low up toward a medium count and he has 3 bad tree allergies (he’s been tested). Tree and mold reported raised levels while everything else was still low. In my mind this proves this app is going to be my more reliable and go-to app in the future to plan my meds around (indoor vs outdoor) unti if/when it starts proving unreliable. I’m glad we had a few days of such specific results I was able to base a theory on!

More info needed

I wish this app provided more information than just high-level “tree” or “mold.” I live in central Texas and we have oak, cedar, juniper, etc and each impact me (and others) differently.

Allergist recommended

SassyKae

I had suffered for years being told it was just a little seasonal allergy. I finally got sick of my “seasonal” allergies I had ALL year long. I went to the allergist and discovered I should live in a bubble because I am allergic to everything in the region, highly allergic. After concocting a cocktail I get injected weekly, pills for the hard times, and some antihistamine inhalers it’s now manageable. This wonderful app gives me more information than the weather channel and helps me to better prepare to face the day. I am ever so grateful. It’s been a huge improvement to my quality of life.

Could be so much better

Mommy2atxprncs

I like that I can see what is triggering me and can record what symptoms I’m having but is there anyway to view historical info? I’ve clicked all around and can find no way to create a report of the information I enter. So this may be great for something but other than just seeing what is high that day I don’t know what.

Awesome

It’s awesome but there’s something wrong it’s been the same for about a week now it’s not updating

Best Allergy App

Monte K

This was the first allergy app I loaded on my phone several years ago. I have loaded other allergy apps just to compare, but this is the one that I recommend by far! It appears to be the most comprehensive of all the apps for allergies, and it even sends me notifications when various allergens are considered high in my area.

Great App

Allergy suffer.

Helps keep track of my allergy symptoms and treatments from day to day and month to month. Gives me all the information I need for the weather and the pollen count. I have asthma which is triggered by allergies sometimes. They even give you extra information on your allergies. Which is very helpful, you can always learn something from Web MD.

Notifications don’t match app

LWC328

I get notifications saying mold (or whatever) is in the air. Then I go to the app and click on the pollen count, and the app says that particular allergen is low today. Confusing and inaccurate so I have to look for a more accurate app to rely on.

Very happy with app using daily up until past few weeks when unable to access ratings on selected allergens. I am highly allergic and depended on app allergy level information. Very frustrating and disappointing that this feature not working. What gives?

Useful

I use this app frequently to check the more detailed allergen data it has. But I’ve never gotten the notifications to actually work. Also, it’s great that you can store your symptoms and trend them, but WHY would this feature be available if those dates didn’t also capture the levels for each of those days so people can diagnose their own responses to those allergens? Add the levels into the table for historical reference. Otherwise, it’s not really useful.
