This app used to be pretty accurate,now it's always off compared to my readings. The temperature and pressure readings are no where close to what my weather station shows. Also the "Social Report Weather" section never works. Update: 1 year later The latest updates have done nothing to improve the app. In fact every upgrade seems to take away something they used to have in it, just so they can put more ads in their place. I also don't need or want to see all of the pointless videos in the middle of a weather report app. If they were at least weather related they would make some sense but they almost never are. This app is incredibly slow due to the ads and videos. Time to find something better.

This app is not what it used to be. It drains my battery and causes my phone to heat up dramatically within a minute of using. Radar takes a long time to load, as does some video content. There is a perpetual lag in almost everything you do. The ads are over kill. I get that it’s a free app and you have to source money but ads makes the app unusable sometimes. You guys can do better.

Enough is enough! I can’t even open the app to see the temp without it taking me somewhere else to view spam. You could at least make it worth it and accurately predict the weather

On what phone is this beautiful and easy to use?? It lags HORRIBLY!! Not because of internet connection issues, it’s because some developer does not know how to write a proper code. First off, ads are seriously SLOWING IT DOWN!!! You have ads on every page. Are you kidding?? I will bypass your ads with my developer techniques and the app runs PERFECT. I let the ads display and the whole app is just a NIGHTMARE WITH LAGGING. I am dropping your app, and I will never use your service again until you get rid of this nonsense ad bull$h!T!

Weather Channel used to be reasonably good. You only had to endure the endlessly repetitive video ads if you wanted to watch one of their click bait video clips. Now I can’t even check the temperature without having ads covering the screen. Plus it used to be simple and clear to scroll thru your local forecast, they have now made it complicated and counter intuitive to use. F C U K the Weather Channel!!! HATE IT!

Way too slow, messy layout with too much junk and ads and just things are an eyesore and not visually "ergonomic" and conducive to getting the basis info quickly then having the option to get more detail if need be.

Developers, Please fix the problem with draining battery while using the app on this version. I had this app for years and this version can drop 10-15% for 3 minutes of use. Not even watching videos. If one decides to watch video make sure you are plugged in because the 30 second commercials on every video will kill your battery. Make a paid version of the app and stop the ads in it. I would buy it.

This app has become so slow that I get too frustrated trying to use it. I can’t scroll - it is just a choppy mess as it tries to catch up with what I am asking it to do. I have to hit the button I’m trying to access (swipe to a favorite, any function of the app, etc.) and then sit there and wait for it to catch up. I’m actually going to delete this app and use something else for weather because it is just way too frustrating. Too bad because it used to be my go-to for fast and accurate weather - not anymore.
