Good weather data. Horrible alerts.

The weather data is good and meets my expectations. The layout is too focused on trying to get me to watch their video content. Would like to be able to disable that, but not a deal killer. It’s the alerts that ruin the app. I want to get official warnings but don’t need some of the extra alerts about high/low temps and what not. You’re given the option to disable those extra alerts in the app but they will magically turn themselves back on after a period of time (more than and hour, less than a day). I can turn them back off but will come right back without notification. TWC’s official support article states that’s the intended behavior (?!) and to disable app notifications at the OS layer (in Settings). What, what?? You give me to ability to selectively choose what alerts I want in app but effectively ignore that and opt me back in automatically. Your recommendation is to disable ALL notifications, so I have to risk missing truly critical alerts to prevent unneeded alerts because you can’t code the app to honor in-app, granular alert options.

Dec 2017 update drains battery unbelievably fast

I’m not sure what “performance updates” you put in your Dec 2017 update, but when I run it now I can literally watch my battery drop, 1% every 5-10 seconds. Moved on to another weather app.

What’s happened to this app? It takes so long to load, then creeps while I try to scroll down. I close it up without seeing anything and am about to delete it.

Radar not in sync with actual time; breaking news at top instead of following what conditions are in my location; unable to load current conditions most of the time. Sloppy sloppy sloppy update. Why do you work there if you don't know what you're doing? smdh!
