Looks interesting but I’m not even trying it because after I downloaded it. Everything I touched in the app wanted more money ? I’m not paying in paying for different layers of the app when I don’t even know if it’s worth it.

Hopefully The Weather Channel won’t buy this one and KILL it. Like they did my last favorite weather app.

On July 14th 2019, I subscribed to the UDH Pro Wind and Water monthly subscription. The UDH Pro was unlocked for the first month but has been locked for the last two months. I now have been charged $29.99/month for 3 months. I contacted the app developer at the end of August, and received a response a month later. I have tried to restore purchase as well as delete and reinstall the app with no resolution. At $30/month, this is an expensive upgrade for an app, but worth it to me as a climate researcher. I am looking forward to utilizing Saildrone as a tool in this research. Edit: Thanks to the app developers, this issue has been addressed. They are still working out the kinks, but have been in good contact and have given me access to UDH pro in the meantime. After exploring the UDH pro upgrade more, I’m impressed. It is everything I’ve been looking for, minus the high def global radar (which is no problem for me, as MyRadar has that covered). The data is precise, and all of the maps have terrific color-coding that give great perspective of slight variances in temperatures, wind speeds, ocean current speeds, etc. This is coupled with a top bar feature that shows accurate readings according to where the center target that extremely fast with zero lag time.

Try it and compare to ANY other weather app. This has it all and is 100% user friendly for any age.

I really like how I can scroll a timeline as to when rain is expected, which way the wind is coming, etc. I realize that it is still subjective, but this app has been right more times than I can remember. Not sure if I will upgrade, only because I am stingy and the free aspect of the app gives me what I need. As the weather changes, we’ll see!
