Man I wasn’t happy when these guys pulled the web app and grumbled about the price. Although I feel one or two dollars less would bring in much more impulse buys, I am glad after many weeks of use that I pulled the trigger on this one. Gives me all the weather info I need in a super well thought out interface. Keep it up devs!

Nice presentation, unreliable data refresh

This app has the best (for me) representation of weather data amongst the 5+ that I’ve tried. However, I keep getting burned by out-of-date information being displayed by the app as current. For example, it’s currently 59 degrees where I am (based on other data sources and feel) but the app (widget and in-app) report a temperature of 49 degrees. Neither force restarting the app nor deleting and recreating my location within the app help. I started keeping the widgets for both this app and the default weather app next to each other as a warning for when things get out of sync. This has made me realize that the issue is more pervasive than I’d originally realized. I’m still rating highly because I think this is an iOS issue rather than something app specific. You really need to cross check two weather apps to see if you are getting up to date information.

My favorite weather app! My only suggestion would be to add an Apple Watch app so I can remove the standard Apple weather app from my device and add a weather line complication instead ! This would make it 5 Stars :).

This is far and away my favorite weather app on iOS. So many weather apps have taken cues from this beautiful piece of craftsmanship, but none manage to do it better. I really hope there will a paid update or tip jar in the near future. I want this dev to keep making software and to be able to eat while doing it!

A Daily Infographic for Weather

This app has been a staple on my phone for years now. The way it presents a large amount of information in a form that’s easy to quickly digest is second to none. It’s especially useful for my morning walk into the office. A quick scan shows if rain is expected later, so I know to bring the umbrella along.

I rabidly love using this app because its accuracy and data presentation is superb. Would love the ability to rotate 90deg and iPad support.

Love the monthly averages

I love that this app makes it easy to see the monthly average temperatures for a location; it’s great when I’m considering travel and wondering when would be a good time of year to visit a place. On the down side, this app only allows adding around 10 locations; you have to delete one before you can look up the weather for a different location. I’m fine with the number of *favorites* being limited, but I want to be able to do one-off searches without having to go through the whole add/delete cycle — let me favorite it after I’ve pulled it up, if I want one-tap access in the future. (Most weather apps share this restriction, which is a frustrating restriction for my usage patterns.)
