TEMPERATURE on the HOME SCREEN ICON
Fahrenheit is backed by an online web server that uses Push Technology to push the current temperature of any location to your iPhone and iPad. This makes it possible to always have the actual temperature displayed in the red badge at the top-right of the Fahrenheit icon on your Home Screen.
It works really easy. We have Notification Setting that allows you to receive a Popup/Banner alert from our Push Server. This alert will also appear in the Notification Center and Lock screen to show the temperature of the last update. You can set the number of notifications as you prefer (max 1, max 5 etc) in the iPad/iPhone general settings.

Fahrenheit brings you all weather information available for every location in the world and a 10-day forecast. In addition to these powerful forecasting features, Fahrenheit provides more comprehensive weather information. This includes detailed information regarding cloud cover and rainfall totals. The temperature on the home screen icon (badge) can be off as much as 10-15 degrees unless you actually open up the app--which is what it requires to "update" the onscreen temperature! Kind of defeats purpose of onscreen temp!!

Great layout, inaccurate info

The layout of this app is very nice, uncluttered and easy to scan. However there have been far too many times where there forecasts have been off. Even right now, it's clearly raining outside but the app only shows it as a 20% chance of precipitation for the current hour. Wanted to keep but there's no point when I need more accuracy beyond just the temperature and I keep checking weather.com to double check this app.
