Leaves old stories up way too long, frequent misspellings throughout site, doesn't seem to keep up with current news.

From time to time, the app (not only NBC Charlotte but also the WFMY app) has a tendency to not wanting to connect to the internet. But when it works, it's nice to watch the live newscasts and receive updates from both apps.

This news app fulfills some basic news needs but it maintains news articles for too long after the event occurred. The weather section is adequate but not nearly as effective as other apps available. The traffic section is at best hard to understand, there is no legend to the chart.

So far, this news app meets my needs for local news. Today, I was able to quickly access local primary election results.

It's a serviceable app. However, WCNC continues to post articles w ZERO text. There only a heading, a few images, and nothing else. I call that laziness.

Update (26-JUN-2016): Why does WCNC keep adding articles with zero text to describe the images they are posting!?! In the past week they've posted 5 series of photos and NONE contain a description beyond the headline... Lazy employees! Ordinal review (still relevant): Something must have happened at WCNC. This app used to have multiple articles added each day. Now you're lucky to get one or two. Additionally, the other tabs likes Crime, Entertainment, and Health are rarely updated and now contain articles that are months old. This used to be my "go to" app for local news. I've recently switched to a different local channel's app. I still open this app, but rarely read the "news" anymore.

Radar maps are oooold

The live radar maps work good but are very old. It shows 485 only around to the south of Charlotte.
