So many pop up ads that you can’t even read any of the news. Defeated the app.

Ads take priority over live tornado broadcasts

Downloaded this app as a huge storm was approaching, saw in big red letters tornado watch. Tapped to go to the live feed and a freaking ad plays, and then the ad caused the live stream not to play. Like I get ads make money, but in this scenario people are trying to get info that could quite literally save their lives and the app feels like ads should take priority. It’s awful.

First off, the WCNC app isn’t available on Firestick like all the other local networks. I’m only able to watch the live news segments on my phone or iPad which CONSTANTLY just stops playing and exits out of the app altogether several times during the live feed and I have to go back in each and every time. None of the other local apps do that AND I can watch them on my smart tv. Hopefully, someone will look into these issues and adjust accordingly.

Because that’s what you’ll do WASTE TIME! Click on a notification and a video pops up ... to see the news article, you’ll have to sit through 10+ commercials and then not even anything to do with the notification you received!!! BIG WASTE of time! App DELETED!!

Weather is about the only useful tool. The reports are a joke, filled with left wing bias which doesn’t surprise me considering the staying is run by a liberal nut job! It would be nice if the so called journalists could actually write and use a spell check and grammar check! Sad that news has no journalistic integrity any longer!
