Useful and efficient tool

All the watercolorists I know and paint with think this is an incredible little tool. Seeing what you are looking at in terms of color, value and form is not always easy and this program is a great partner for your own sensory readings. Looking at the program size and functions, these folks also deserve a thumbs up for writing very efficient code.
Does one thing very well

I have a lot of photo editing and art apps on my phone and iPad, but come back to Waterlogue consistently because it does the best watercolor effect of any app I’ve used. Does it do filters, cropping, etc., etc.? No, but sometimes when an app does everything. It doesn’t always do them very well. Waterlogue is easy to use, give you choices in terms of color and size of the brush, and gives great results.

I am amazed to watch your app at work. I have learned about illustration, watercolor and where to start, the differences in color value. I am fascinated by all of this. I hope someday to be able to paint pictures myself.

Very weak. Little more than shading with blurs. Other apps are better. Very disappointing. No definition or clarity.
