Annoying bug: loses my place in the article

RCG4B

When I’m partway through reading an article in this app, if I switch away to another app even for a just a second, or pause long enough for my phone to sleep, when I return to the app it’s always bounced me back to the top of the article and I lose my place. Super annoying.

Post. Is ok

tom for trump

I like the post

5 stars until recently. Almost unusable now.

seriously? I need a nickname?

Forced reset whenever I switch way from app and return renders it almost unusable for me. Was my primary online news source, off to NYT until this is fixed.

I Count on the WP

Frances Sampson

Every day we are bombarded with double-speak from a president whose only concern is his ego and personal profit. He lies multiple times on a daily basis. He attacks loyal brave Americans and praises dictators. And the Republican Party has decided that they are fine with that. With 45 they deny truthful findings by US. Intelligence and spread Russian disinformation. The main reason we still have a democracy, as fragile as it may be, is the free press, and the Washington Post is one of the best sources of news and analysis in the world. I truly thank you for separating truth from lies and uncovering information that holds the powerful accountable.

Great App easy to navigate

AnahataGraceland

I love the style and focus of the writing of the WP. The app is easy to navigate. Happy!

Good content. Horrible ap.

dango3kdai

Content is great but it is impossible to find articles. They should replicate the index on their website which is a thousand times better. You should also be able to see five or six articles at a time on the menu rather than only one at a time.

More journalism - less opinion section

atlanta subscriber

Actual journalists are worth the subscription, then there is the opinion section...

The app excludes most interactive and visual content

McG00000000&

Inexplicably, the app excludes most interactive and visual content — photo galleries etc. I read news on the app for two years without realizing how much content I was missing!

Essential read

I value my subscription of the Washington Post greatly. It reporting is insightful, the graphics online are excellent. Mr. Bezos has made a wonderful impact on a storied publication.

Credibility

VitoVyt

In a world where fake news has suddenly exploded, facts and truth matter. The Washington Post has established a tradition and is clearly committed to factual and objective reporting. Opinions are clearly separated from the news and they are lucid and committed to tolerance, compassion, and democracy. This is the kind of press that is the forth check on the balance of power our government is based on.
