Campaign too simple?

After finding out you can upgrade heroes to the 20s with 5 stars, and then when they add mythical armor and i dont even have legendary, i was prepared to be here for the long hall. But here i am with the campaign levels finished, highest heroes only lv14, all 2 star except one, and just finished the last campaign level. No congrat message for completing, and the last lvls were actually extremely easy barely touching my weak army. Granted i ‘can’ keep playing for the bosses that can only be fought once a day, beating the campaign so easily makes me wonder why i should go on. Also gold starts to get really rare as u lvl up. But mostly just wish there was more challenge when my team is less than half what they could be at max power and none of them even die in battles!
Good game, 2 major flaws

This is a good game. The mechanics are good, and everything seems balanced and fair. I do find that plying it is very grinding, where you do the same thing over and over for loot to grow. Same with the online competitions, though those are even worse. I personally enjoyed their previous multiplayer experience better as it allowed one to play casually and not have to grind constantly to get a good rank. It is a terrible killer of the games fun. The biggest draw back: starting the app to download updates. I HATE apps that force this on players. When there is a new update, you have to download it from the App Store. Then, when you launch the app, you have to ‘download additional content’. This additional content only downloads while the app is open, so I have to sit and wait for 15 minutes while my device is getting this content. Everything needed to play should be downloaded through the App Store, so that this data can be downloaded in the back ground, not locking my entire device from doing anything else. It is very disrespectful of players and their time, especially since the App Store generally downloads this content much more quickly.
Connecting a server issue

My internet is all good on my phone, but every other game, when I completed the session, it will show connects a server and doesn't load further. Seems like a bug to me. Otherwise, it seems like a well designed game so far. I'm on 3rd chapter.

Reporting this ad viewing glitch that happens too often the past week. After an ad plays, I don’t get the refresh reward. Last week, these were one ofs. This week they are too frequent. Please fix. Thank you?

Starts off slow but is surprisingly deep for a mobile game. This is Freemium done well. No ads, no stamina timers besides units dying and even those regenerate very fast.
