Warscrolls
Rules for every model in the Warhammer Age of Sigmar range are included in the app. Every Warscroll is available in a simple and easy to use format, and these will be updated automatically as new models are released so you’ll always be able to choose from the latest units.
My Battle
My Battle makes it easy to build your collection into an army, ensuring that you’ll have all your Warscrolls to hand as you fight to determine the fate of the Mortal Realms. We’ve made some major updates to this section too, so you can now add Time of War rules and Battleplans to your games, giving you a near-infinite variety of games to play.
Books
Every Warhammer Age of Sigmar book is available to download and read within the app. Through these, you can explore the ongoing narrative of the Realmgate Wars and refight epic conflicts. Each book has an easy to navigate chapter system and remembers your place when you leave it, so you can pick up where you left off. Buying a book in the app will also unlock any associated Warscroll battalions, Time of War rules and Battleplans.
You can also improve your painting skills with step-by-step guides for models from the growing range of Warhammer Age of Sigmar Citadel Miniatures.
Battle Packs
This new feature offers a great value way to unlock bundles of content to use in the My Battle section of the app: Warscroll Battalions, Battleplans and Time of War rules can all be unlocked here.
You can download Warhammer Age of Sigmar: The App for free for your iPhone and iPad from the App Store. Any books you buy within the app will be available on all your iOS devices, so you can read them wherever you go, on whatever device you have to hand.

Laggy but good

This app is laggier than it should be, but is a decent way to keep warscrolls and lists on your phone.

This is an update to a review I made shortly after the app was released. This app has come a long way and I currently use it all the time, from making army lists to using azyr for battles in progress.

Good app when working. Since I upgraded to a new phone it will no longer recognize my subscription. I click on the button to subscribe and it tells me I am already signed up, however it doesn’t then take me to the lists I previously prepared! So frustrating!
Lazy! But, WHY!?

Ok, so I’ve allowed for a lengthy amount of time before reviewing this. Simply put it’s lazy. Nothing is accurate, or accurately little is. In an attempt to force purchasing of products they’ve limited the functionality of the Azyr app list building.... that you (or at least I) pay for. It’s simple things that’s not only lazy, but limiting. To the point few tournament allows the Azyr lists. For instance Greywater lists can’t add the extra artillery... that they’re allowed. Battalions don’t require them to be filled correctly for the list to say “valid”.

As a WarHammer addict, this app is my go-to for warscroll reference and model research, but it’s not perfect. In the general warscroll section, I think you should be able to switch the Profile View, like you can in My Battle so you can see the unit size, point values and battlefield role without it having to add it to My Battle. Another addition I would suggest is additional search refinement. Right now you are only able to refine your search by Grand Alliance, Faction and key words I think you should be able to refine search by stats and battlefield role, as well as a point value. Instead of sifting through my entire factions warscrolls for a unit that hits and wounds on 3’s, I should be able to put what stats I’m looking for into a search engine that can refine my search by each models stats. You should be able to look for models based on their attack and save values, movement, bravery, wound number etc., that would make this app WAY more effective. I would also suggest that you add a MathHammer type calculator, one where you can plug in your models stats and have your average wound output, point value efficiency, etc. calculated. As for right now, this app is just OK.

GW has been doing a good job to keep this app working well. The one thing I would hope they eventually do is update the battletomes as corrections and FAQs are published.

This app is alright, although points keep updating on this app, so I don’t see the point of buying a Battletome when it’s just going to get outdated. App’a kinda glitchy too, but useful for quick pull-up. Hopefully see some new updates to it

Please update the new version. All horrors are adding 200 points into army total. Even after they are changed to blues or brims. I have a valid army that should cost 1990 that is showing as 2230. That is due to the extra 140 its charging for a unit of brims and 100 its charging for a unit of blues
Good Reference, pdf books closes too fast

It’s good for references and models war scrolls. I just feel like the books in the app seem to close to easy. Like zooming in and scrolling down closes the book. Wish would stay open until hitting the close button. Other then the pdf books I like how the other information can be made and organize. Just those pdf books closing way too easy makes it a meh rating for me.
Great for a month

At the start of every month, Azyr glitches and thinks I’m not subscribed, even though I am. So I have to delete and reinstall, thereby losing my lists. This month I deleted and reinstalled and it still thinks I’m not subscribed. Were not for this problem it would be a great app.
