Decent Game But Pay to Win Kills it

Terrorstorm91

The game is pretty fun and appropriately challenging but it’s extremely difficult to improve your squad without throwing cash at the game. I’d rather pay like $4.99 to download and have your characters progress through xp and not coins which are near impossible to get without paying for them

PvP is broken & developer customer service as well

I downloaded and started playing about 3 weeks ago and as with most of the popular card based strategy games I knew I would have to make in game purchases in order to advance. While this game does have a couple of short PvE campaigns, the most rewards and gameplay center on levelling up and being able to compete in PvP battles. Unfortunately, despite all I have paid to advance in all of the times I have gone into the PvP queue and waited to matched to participate in a battle I have only been matched twice. Not being able to get into PvP has also affected me not being able to do special weekend PvE events since I don’t have enough PvP battles or wins to participate without paying even more for the privilege. Over the past couple weeks I have filed several bug reports and e-mailed the dev several times. All of that got me just a single reply with a suggestion to restart the game, something I had already done several times before even reporting problems. At this point I have just uninstalled the game and recontacted the dev and Apple which acknowledged “app exploitation” had occurred, regarding a refund. Failing that I will have to challenge the charges as being fraudulent from this game with my credit card company!

Ahh YEA!!!

GomidaDeadcellGatos

My favorite chapter.

WH40K:Acid

artisal.salmon

Finally someone used the excellent concept from metal gear acid! And it’s WH40k which makes it even better. Just a lot of good tactical fun and runs great on 8+. Great job!

Could have been a 5

Honestly the only thing holding this game back is the deck interface . It’s garbage . You can only have one deck per class . On top of that, you can’t easily see the cards you have in your deck . It’s a wild goose chase to figure out what is in your hand . However , the gameplay is fantastic .

Nope.

Ironbaptist

Never even played it, had a problem with having to consent to my info being sent to companies for advertising just to play. Sorry I’ll pass.

Was a great effort but needs work

Hurricane1376

Most of this game was pretty good. Loved the turned based strategy and the card system did add something unique to it. But you made no effort to really explain how things like deck management and fusion and forging worked. And maybe I’m getting older but I could barely read anything and I have an iPhone 7+. You need to flesh out your tutorial system. Also the game crashed several times and I’m still in the beginning part of the game. It crashed right before I won a mission and then just when I was loading the NEXT mission. That type of instability doesn’t help engage a player. With a better tutorial and more stable game this would be even better. But I can’t get into it in its current form. PS. I am sure it wasn’t a connectivity issue and constant online requirement is silly for a single player game.
