Need another campaign

Great, although weird game. More complex then you would think. Only negative is the lack of a new campaign. Extensive first first campaign and and add on skirmish like mode.

Good but issues with multiplayer

***RussK***

This is great AW clone. There are few modifications to the base AW game, a unit or two is different and there are different rules on how units carried in a transport behave. The tweaks are good and I miss out on using the Ranger when I go back to AW. All of this makes for great game play! There is, however, an issue with the game. Multiplayer games suffer from frequent errors "communicating with Game Center". I don't know what this really means, but in practice it means that a player cannot end their turn and must wait 24 hours for their turn to auto-end. I reached out to the developer to report the issue and the response was that I must have a spotty WiFi connection. So...I wasn't very pleased with that response, not sure if they didn't understand the issue or didn't care, but it didn't inspire a lot of faith in the company for me. The group I play with have put up with this issue for a couple years but it's gotten old and we're about ready to move on to another game so we don't have wait 2-3 days to lay one round (of a 4 player game). Hopefully the issue will be resolved at some point, other than that, Warbits is fantastic!

Solid

It’s Advance Wars! Well worth it if you enjoyed those games.

Perfect for those seeking an Advance Wars clone

The gameplay in Warbits is great. The developers definitely understand what made Advance Wars so fun and bring that out in this app. My rating of three stars is because half of the game, the multiplayer, is no longer functioning. Since Gamecenter got the boot, all of the multiplayer content is bricked. You aren’t able to do any of it with the exception of local hand-off matches. Great game, guys! Just give it an update to the multiplayer and it will be perfection.

Best game on iOS. Period.

Mr Caution

For players of a certain other handheld turn-based strategy game from the GBA years, this is the homage we’ve all been looking for. This is about as close to perfect as the genre gets. The matches during the campaign ramp up in difficulty at just the right pace. The available units fit together in all the right ways to enable boundless options and tactics. Knowing when and how to use charges tactically is half the battle — Guardian is my favorite for holding down routes and enemy unit factories to prevent further enemy action. The interactions between generals is chuckle-worthy. The menu and navigation system is downright genius. You can pick it up in a few minutes, but master it only after several hours. I love this mobile game in ways man should never love a mobile game.

Not sure if anyone mentioned this...

...but it sure does remind me of Advance Wars.

Matchmaking issue

roofTip

When joining an online two-player game (via message invite) the game will not join if currently in another online match AND after exiting or quitting the app, the invitation does not work...please update!
