Great conceptual game, however the dependency on strong network connections detracts from the game. Other game develops are doing a better job on maintaining continuity of game play within t the network dependency. Other than that good job.

War Wings is fun to collect and fly different planes. It is also a great way to start to learn about the history of these aircraft.

Less Arcady, more unplayable

To start things off, this game has a great concept and I respect the devs for constantly updating it as well as taking requests from players of the game in their fine tuning. Unfortunately, the product feels too much like something targeted at 7 year olds who know absolutely nothing about tactics and just want to shoot at things. The gameplay often gets to a point where I can't even tell what's happening because the message "Under attack!" Fills the screen dispite the constant bullets riddling my plane which should already make it obvious enough that I'm being shot at...my overall main complaint is just how the GUI works. Your plane is constantly zipping around the non stop rattling screen, making it nearly impossible and occasionally frustrating to see what on earth is happening while being shot at. I actually like the idea of an arcade dogfighting game but just can't stand how over ephasisized they make being shot at be. I think the plumes of flame, smoke, and my screen having a seizure are already more than enough to tell me I'm "Under attack!" In the end, it just makes me think the game wants me to just sit there and let everything kill me because I sure can't tell where I'm going or even where my opponents are with the current state of the GUI.
