Unable to stop trial period

I am trying to stop the trial period. Have contacted support but so far nothing from them. The instructions are sketchy and asks to unsubscribe from the Apple ID settings. But there is no provision for that in Apple ID. It says cancel subscription by contacting Apple. This seems like a racket

I signed up for this app, put my payment info in for membership, and used it once. For the past several months I’ve been trying out how to unsubscribe!! How do I stop paying for an app I DO NOT WANT??

I signed up for a free trial and was charged $45! How is that a free trial? The app didn’t even track my full cardio session. It only captured 15 minutes of a 60 minute session.
