Bad app

Rollgirl

I sadly got this app based on an ad I saw that ended up being completely false. Paid the fee and it’s the worst walking app. Do yourself a favor, don’t buy this app and save your money!

What a waste

Won’t connect to your Apple Watch so literally have to have your phone on you the entire time to track anything. Wasted $14.99.

Was unable to use app because it keep making me share and would not let me go to a new screen. Paid all that money and cannot use it.

Informative

Helped me reach my goal.

The app is really fun to use. I would give it 5 stars with the caveat “I knew what you meant,” so only 3 stars. The recipe instructions are often unclear or incomplete. In one dish the sauce is prepared yet it is never mentioned in the instructions re: when to add it back into the skillet. I’m an oldie but a goodie - I have lots of food prep under my belt so I can figure it out. You will be able to, too, as long as you’re not fairly new to cooking. My husband and I enjoy the walks with music and coaching! The music playlists are by genre and there is no variety in that playlist. No shuffle, no song changes. We are ok with that. We are avid walkers and this interval training approach to walking is exactly what we needed. Our biggest issue is the meal plan. The food is delicious! For us it’s too much variety - cooking 2x/day most every day isn’t realistic, and the meal plan never encourages leftovers. Again, all of that is workable. 1) food pictured is not always exactly what you will make. We eat with our eyes. This could set up a feeling of being denied food in some people. 2) food descriptions aren’t always accurate-for example, “granola” means 7 nuts. Why not just say “nuts?” “Whole wheat” does not mean coconut flour. Ever. 3) There is no plan for using the leftovers. It’s just the two of us, so we do repeat meals with leftovers, which is fine with us. Most recipes serve 4 and you’d be at the grocery store quite often if you followed the meal plan to the letter. Ain’t nobody got no time for that! ? 4) Once the day’s menu is done, you won’t be able to scroll back and look at previous days. If you like a dish, take a screenshot of the recipe or mark it as a favorite. 5) Huge plus-I have Celiacs and am gluten free. So far every recipe has been tasty and gluten free. I believe these recipes are very conscientious of diabetic health and low-sodium dietary needs as well. Check with your doctor, but this plan serendipitously checked all the boxes for me. Overall, if you’re confident in the kitchen, you’ll do fine.

Review

For the Love of PAINT

My app today was very glitchy. It kept turning off saying workout paused while I was still walking.

Doesn’t account for stops.

customernotsohappy

Stopped tracking when I stopped to talk to a neighbor and I do not see a way to update.

Dumb

sarahgggh

Too specific of meal plan. Impossible to stick to. Laughable.
