Great for weather, but

HATE that full page ad on startup!! Small banner at the bottom if ad is necessary!

I dislike the newest version. This used to be my go-to weather app. Now it's annoying. Old one was simple to use with straightforward interface and ads either at the top or bottom. The newer version does the same thing with a "prettier" interface that doesn't add anything useful and slows navigation. Furthermore, it opens with a full splash screen ad that hangs for five seconds before clearing away. It adds the load time each and every time by that much. It's annoying and I see myself switching to something else soon.
Disappointing Update

Recent update to this app hits you with a full-page ad on start up. Updated app is also less visually appealing and not as usable. However, the radar picture is quite good. If not for the radar page I would pass on this app.

Overall a good app. Used to be better. Crashes too often and less visually appealing. Also don't like the add upon opening app. Very glitchy and a lot less reliable than older version. Please improve because it's been very reliable in the past. Thanks
Too Many Ads

App started out fine, sort of liked the change. But now every time I open the app the first thing I see is a full screen ad for Joe East Heating. Don't want or need that. Will be deleting this app and stick with The Weather Channel or James Spann.
I like the update

The update adds a new interface that, to me, is more visually appealing. It has a nice modern look to it. There is an ad that pops up when you open the app, but clicking the screen instantly gets rid of it. I haven't noticed any crashing like the other reviewers have. It runs just fine for me. I had a moment of amazement when I saw a bolt of lightning in the distance, this app popped up a notification that there was lighting detected XX miles from me, then after a second I heard the thunder boom. It really shows how amazingly advanced our weather detection systems are becoming.

I like the modern look. Much easier to use. However I hate the ad that pops up, that wastes 5 seconds of my time every time I want to check the weather. Get rid of that and it would be 5 stars.

This version is awful. The ads are annoying and the new layout is very difficult to navigate. WHNT's new weather app is much better.

They have changed this app and it's nothing like the old version and now they have huge ads soon as you open the app. Do Not like! Deleting and getting the weather channel!!!
I don't like this update :-(

This is terrible! If I wanted an ad I would've placed one myself. I depended on your app for the correct weather. All this other junk needs to go! And if I had my voice you wouldn't get a star at all.
