No special software needed on your Mac!
** ISSUE #1: The app does not work on iOS 7 yet. I am working on an update.
** ISSUE #2: The setup video is not working within the app. To setup your Mac to work with this app you need to:
1) Open "System Preferences"
2) Select "Sharing"
3) Check the box next to "Remote Login"
4) You should now be able to control the volume from your iPhone/iPod Touch
NOTE: This app only works with Macintoshes.

How do you set it up?

It won't find my Mac and the "Mac Setup Video" button doesn't do anything. Thus this is pretty much useless until the author provides some directions on how to set it up. Further, I tried Googling the app and the author and found nothing. He needs to create a website somewhere that we can use to contact him and tell him his app has problems.

You can't even call this an app. It does nothing. It should be called the "mediocre interface to do... Nothing" app. How did apple approve this?! I wish I could rank this a -.
Why buy the 99 cent version??

This app does exactly what it says. Works great, a little slow to react and a little slow to load. The initial setup is crappy but once it is working, it's great.
