I have tried using this app multiple times and it has yet to translate one phrase. Tried Mandarin to English, Spanish to English and vice versa and French to English, no go. I also keep getting an error, " Please check network connection", and nothing is wrong with the network

My 5 year old daughter is in a Spanish immersion program & we use this all the time. It's a sure life saver.

Attractive interface, but very poor voice recognition! Usually it says "Please check network connection." Another translator app I have has no trouble with my network connection! I have found one way around this problem: tapping the keyboard button, then using the iPad’s built-in voice recognition feature instead. Then translation is pretty reliable.

It is good. The automated translator speaks the translation too fast. There needs to be a variable speed playback feature.

I bought the app because it says it has Romanian among the languages it translates,but it doesn't. I'm disappointed !
